Bosch 1x Sanding Pad (Ø 125 mm, Medium Hard, with Hook and Loop System, Accessories for Random Orbital Sander)

Bought this to replace the head on a bosch sander. At first it was all working great, replaced the head slapped on some sandpaper and good to go. The problem came about 2 hours in of solid sanding and a few papers later, the pad just stopped gripping the papers properly.Considering it was only used for a few hours is pretty annoying considering a new head is nearly £30. Better off buying a new sander if heads don't last long.Maybe a duff head or maybe my sandpaper isn't good quality. Tried a few papers and the same issue so does seem to be the head.On an expensive sander it maybe worth buying this head to extend its life since the motor etc will be better quality. but on a sander like my cheap bosch one (about £50 odd from memory) may aswell buy a whole new sander and not risk getting possible duff heads.

Waste of money. I bought this pad as a replacement for my Bosch PEX400. After about 30 minutes of use, the sanding disc flew off. I brushed away dust from the pad and tried again. I noticed the Bosch sanding disc was not strongly gripped by the pad. I switched on the sander and about 5 minutes later the disc flew off again The original Bosch pads do not hold the sanding disc for long. Product not recommended and will be returned for a refund.

Brought this as a replacement to my Bosch sander and I was so happy as sand paper hade so much grip BUT two coffee tables later almost no grip at all. New sand paper just flying off after 5 min. No point spending over £20 every month. Thinking of buying different sander.

Nothing like as good as the original. Disks did not fit and flew off withing minutes. Very disappointing. I am going to have to look at replacing the sander.

My old sanding plate got worn and the sanding discs would fly off, fitted quite easily to my PEX400 sander, saved me buying a new sander, ensure you apply some silicon grease on the side of the plate which connects to the sander.

Since this part tends to wear fairly fast, the replacement is a bit too expensive and way too hard to find, but the BOSCH machine is to blame for this.Replacement and shipment were OK

What a rubbish!!! Bought it as a replacement for a Bosch PEX300. After about 2 minutes of use the sanding pads started to fly off, first slowly and now when I switch on the machine. The pads (original bosch and new) don't hold at all. Waste of money. Don't buy it.
