Scrubs the fur well. However the dispensing mechanism for the shampoo is not the best. I rather squeeze shampoo directly onto the bristles then scrub the dog rather than squeeze the shampoo out.

It is already my second brush of this type ordered.Good tool to wash the dog (I use it for the golden retriever).Just mind that you need to control the force you use to push, if pushing too strong, then shampoo from inside is consumed too fast. But as alternative this can be used with normal soap (wated the brush, water the soap, brush the soap and use on dog).After about 6 months of usage about 20% of rubber bristle is lost, still funtioning, but I decided to replace.From my point of view, good buy.

Works amazing, gone are the days of dropping soap bottles due to wet, soapy, and furry hands. I tried it on my long haired 140lb st bernard, made her bath much easier and worked much better than i anticipated. It also works on my 2 month old, squirmy, 8lb golden doodle. The grips of the material also doesnt allow it to fall out of your hand, and the extra handle gives added support. 10/10 i would recommend to friends who hand bathe their dogs.
