Thanks for the question - the shaft is regular flex graphite - and yes, the Q Club comes with a "Q Tube"; a padded travel case. We've explored ways to make Q suitable as plane carry-on luggage, but have found there are too many compromises when having a telescopic shaft. In particular: it needs to be steel, and making it telescoping affects the shaft's performance. It's an area we'll continue to explore though!

Q: Does this come with a shaft?

Yes, the Q Club (this listing) includes a 38.5" Regular-Flex 80g shaft. Through much testing, we've found that this is a great setup for the majority of golfers. If, however, you want something specific, we also offer a "Q Club Kit" (also listed here on Amazon). Q Club Kit includes the two core parts of Q (11-setting adjustable loft Q head and Extra-long 3-position grip) as well as a ferrule. It's designed for people who want a shaft of their own choosing fitted (so the length, brand or flex can be customised). Simply take Q Kit to your local Proshop, club-fitter or golf retailer. They will be able to make recommendations and do the fitting (The Q head is affixed to a shaft in a standard way, so this is a simple and inexpensive task)

Q: Is this a legal club?

Not currently - in time we hope the USGA and R&A will re-evaluate the rules. In the meantime, Q is 100% legal for how most golf is played: exercise, practice, taking on vacation, keeping in your trunk/boot, or just having fun with buddies!

Q: Where is this club made?

Q is designed in the USA and New Zealand. Manufacturing is done in China, as is the standard for much of the golf industry.
