I couldn't put this book down and I will return to it again and again! It is such a beautiful, encouraging read for all women, especially for stay at home mothers and homeschoolers. Jennifer writes with beauty, encouragement, and conviction and reminds us that as mothers, we are capable of creating a sacred home in the midst of chaos. Sharing her personal stories and lovely sense of humor, reading this book is like sitting down with a lovely and wise mentor you didn't know you needed. Jennifer highlights women of faith, their stories and legacies, and the habits we can emulate in today's modern world. I especially loved her chapter on habits of work and Edith Schaeffer's contributions to her community. Following the same format as Mothering by the Book, there are questions at the end of each habit for reflection, verses to memorize, prayers, recipes, and further reading suggestions. I am recommending this book to all the mothers in my circle and I'm inspired to keep doing this sacred work!

This book is (eternal) life changing. Initially bought this book as part of a book club but I have read it 3 times over (and highlighting more each time). Jennifer writes with so much love, and grace, yet it's full of instruction. We have used the super helpful study guide to go through as a family and though the changes we are making are small. They are making a big impact in the atmosphere of our home. I look forward to recommending this book to others!

Totally worth the read! comes with journal prompts at the end, a recipe, a memory verse and over all easy chapters packed with value! Perfect for any Christian woman!

I recommend this book to all who are wanting to crate a healthy rhythm on building a sacred home! I love every biblical view of how the author wrote this book. I felt as if the author was next to me with coffee in her own home showing me as how discipleship should be. This is one to keep on my bookshelf and run back to from time to time.

This is Nathan’s wife. I love the way Jennifer takes you on a journey in this book. You look at the lives of various Christian women and how they chose to live intentionally. As you read you learn how to cultivate your own family rule of life around things like prayer, simplicity, and community. Then she provides opportunities to go deeper in each area with added resources. This is the kind of book that you want to savor and take your time going through but at the same time it’s so engaging you just want to keep reading. This will be a book I read many times in my life as I regularly reflect on living a life that points my family and others to Jesus.

I am absolutely in love with this book. If you’re a mom, you NEED this. The restorative habits and practices talked and taught in this book have made my life so much easier. This book has me absolutely enthralled! Not only has it made my life easier, but it has made my kids lives easier as well as it has made us run more smoothly as a family in our home while getting rid of all the chaos. Absolutely worth the money! I would absolutely buy this book again and again!
