Very tough and robust, hence not lightweight so will be very durable. Lovely “flow blue” colour and the traditional design we wanted to replace our old, faded willow pattern set. Very imaginative design shape and edges. Looking at more plain sets of thinner material and higher price, this set represents fantastic value for money. Only tiny gripe is their conflicting description on the Amazon page. One part says not to put in dishwasher while another part says dishwasher proof?? They are glazed stoneware so I have been putting them in the dishwasher and as expected, absolutely no problem. I highly recommend this product.

Absolutely beautiful set . It’s over a year now since I purchased and stop use everyday and none broke or chipped .

These aren't going to be to everyones taste, and they are sturdy stoneware rather than fine China, but they look part and they are affordable enough I don't mind loosing a few to the occasional period melodrama.

Beautiful plates but one dessert plate arrived broken and there’s no way to contact the seller. Can I please get this replaced?

If you’re after a quaint and stylish set of plates this tick all the boxes.First of all I thank those who still manufacture crockery and cutlery in sets of 6! Like tradition commands, instead of futile 4.Now, these dishes apart from being pretty have been in a dishwater several times and have passed the test of durability. In my hands they feel sturdy.They were sent well packaged and timely. And the price is, at time of reviewing, quite frankly, a rare bargain.Thank you.
