Needed to allow circulation in rooms when doors are closed. These worked great.

We added this to our bathroom door to help with ventilation. Our bathroom needed additional ventilation to get rid of moisture. So far, so good with helping geothermal steam out

Works well and looks good. I appreciate that they comes with three different lengths of screws to accommodate different thickness doors. The louvers do NOT come with nether instructions nor a cutting template so you have to measure and layout the opening you need to cut out of the door. I used a “Multi-Tool” to cut out the hole in our hollow core door.

This vent is average thickness, average fit and average ease of installation. The three screw sizes that come with the vent are supposed to fit average thicknesses. But, alas, the screws are often intended for metric based thicknesses and will work their way into and through the receiver hole caps, which is not preferred. Otherwise, the vents are decent enough for average duty needs.

One customer asked if it lets light through so i thought a pic might be helpful. We installed this vent on our laundry room door because the HVAC unit was loud but with door closed it was creating a strong vaccume and needed more airflow to not stress unit. We installed 3 of these vents into the door reducing the noise dramatically while still allowing adequate airflow.

Very easy to install. Placed it in a bedroom door that has to stay closed. A/C unit needed to draw air for return. Vent worked very well.
