End flat pillow suffering!
These things work. I used this while on a recent building trip in Mexico. I've long said I can sleep anywhere if my pillow is good. We'll, hotel pillows are terrible. They're too flat, but two together are too much - it's annoying and uncomfortable. This inflatable pillow is just the thing! In Mexico, I blew it up very little, then inserted it into the pillow case of the hotel pillow. Flip the pillow over and you get to lay your head on the hotel pillow, but at the exact height you prefer. Perfect! Even by itself, it's a great alternative to packing a heavy Serta pillow on any trip with non-private transportation. Thisnia my second and I'm very happy with this!

I am impressed with this pillow. I purchased two so I can also place one to create a gap between my knees that keeps my spine happy. This pillow works well for both that and for laying my head upon. The pillow has a one-way valve that includes an open/close push lock. In the closed position, filling is super easy. The valve is not at all restrictive except for it's size, which is generous, so you can blow full force into it if you want. Exhaling as normal also works, so you can easily fill it at the end of a long day's trek without feeling taxed. Takes me 4-5 exhales to fill the pillow taught. There is an outer cap to protect the valve from dirt accumulation so I expect many years of service. After a night's rest, a finger push into the valve housing locks the valve open for easy depressurization and packing. Air exits as fast as you can flatten the pillow, so you can be on your way at first light, or take time to enjoy an awesome sunrise or breakfast. The fabric is of a weight that I feel strikes a good balance between weight and durability. It's light enough for me to pack two of them for 12 day excursions, but I don't expect one will fail me as long as I don't try to sleep with it directly on jagged rocks. That said, the fabric appears to have enough elasticity that only a knife edge should present a hazard. The top is slightly brushed to give it that feel of fleece. It's not fleece, doesn't feel like fleece, and doesn't insulate like fleece, but it does feel more comfortable against the skin than non-brushed fabric. This pillow has been good for placing between my outstretched arm and my head while sleeping on my side. When on my back, I prefer to turn it 180º from the illustrations, it is more comfortable for me that way. I bring two cotton shirts for sleeping, wrapping this pillow in one is a delight.I do not know the weight rating of these pillow, but placing one in a packable chair makes for some super comfy sitting. This pillow has worked so well for me, I've been able to tone down my weekend warrior glamping with the scouts. Instead of taking my lodge tent, a cot, and regular pillows, I now am happy with my three person packable tent, a decent air mattress, and these awesome pillows.

It's a very nice pillow.
It's a very nice pillow, especially for the price. I think I slept about as good on it as I do when I bring full-sized pillows. I sleep on my side, so it's hard for me to sleep on the compressed downy pillows because my head falls through to the ground.Pros:- Rolls up the size of a mini soda can.- Firm enough to support head and can let air out so it's not too firm.- I'm able to sleep on my side with it without my neck hurting in the morning from being angled too far down.- Big enough to not slide out from under my head.- Doesn't make the squeaking noises I was worried an inflatable pillow might make.Cons:- The colors don't necessarily match. I have an orange one that's almost just like the picture, but just purchased another light blue one that's actually a teal color. The weird thing is that taking a picture of it comes out that light blue color.- It is still a tiny bit low to the ground for me while sleeping on my side. But I haven't seen any camping pillows that are any thicker and it doesn't bother me enough to want to spend more money on a more "luxury" model pillow.I've found that this pillow, combined with one of the cheap compressed downy pillows on top, is about the comfiest solution to camping pillows without spending $50-$60 for it or bringing a full-sized pillow with.

This pillow is better than my $120.00 Mattress Firm pillow, no kidding!
I bought this pillow along with an "Outdoorsman Lab Ultra Lightweight Sleeping Pad" for an overnight motorcycle ride/camping trip. This combination, along with my mil-spec sleep system was so comfortable it blows my mind. I am 47 years old and have hit a few rough patches that have left their marks on me, so sleeping on the ground is usually an experience I like to avoid. I knew I would need a pillow, and so wanted one that was light and compact, but also comfortable. This item really hits the mark. It has a "double valve" system that can be a little scary deflating, but is otherwise brilliant. I say scary because tha material is really thin and light, though it is also tough. And the deflator portion of the valve can be a little hard to open, which is the scary part. I'm always afraid the valve is going to pull completely out of the pillow, ruining it. Hopefully it will get a little easier to open as I use it more, which I plan to do a lot. This pillow is thick enough when inflated to be comfortable for back and side sleepers, and offers adequate support for either (I'm not a stomach sleeper, and can't comment on how well it works that way). The pillows "thickness" also allows for a lot of adjustability in pressure/firmness. I use this pillow on my hammock whenever I lay on it, and it is perfect. It also performed flawlessly on my camping trip. I awoke in the morning with NO neck stiffness, aches, pains, etc. I actually may have to try this pillow in bed, as my neck is stiff while I write this after a night's sleep in my bed with my $120.00 pillow (Mattress Firm...ugh!). Do I recommend this item to others? Absolutely! I like it so much I plan to buy another for my wife to use on the hammock (cause I'm not sharing!).
