OXO Tot 9 Ounce Transitions Straw Cup, Pink

Literally the best cup out there. I went through so many cups trying to find one my kid would both drink milk out of and not spill all over. After many failed attempts at finding a cup she likes and doesn't leak all over, the OXO is now part of our daily life. Every now and then a few drops leak out when liquid gets stuck in the top part of the straw and my kid turns it upside down, but it is very minimal leakage, literally a few drops.The only thing I'd want to improve would be that this size cup (9oz) should also come with handles like the smaller 6oz cup, or at least sell them as a seperate piece. I was able to fashion a handle from one of the many other cups (not Oxo) onto this cup though. Since my kid likes this cup so much I also bought the 6oz cup for water and so that I'd have a pair of handles (which also fit the 9oz)The lid is often a distraction during meals. My kid likes to continually open and close it, so I just took it off and only use the lid when traveling. It's a good distraction in the car seat though!

I bought this bottle because of the reviews from others that its leak proof and easy to clean and I was looking for a bottle to fill milk when my baby goes to daycare. Follow the instructions to clean and use it it was really hard for me to get the liquid through the straw I have to keep adjusting the straw in different positions to see if it made a difference. The liquid did not go through the straw easily and when my child tried it it didn’t work either.

The only bottle I found where milk doesn’t come out of the straw at room temperature!!(If you don’t retract the straw)The milk will stop coming out at the tip of the straw, but that also means you should not retract the straw into the lid because any pressure you put on the straw, the milk will flow out.It’s perfect for us because we use it mainly at home so we just leave the straw out at all time.

The straw gets stuck under the lid when it is flipped down and then the lid is impossible to flip back up/open. So now I use the cup without the lid but it is not hygienic that way and not my preference.Otherwise, the cup is great. 8 month old learned to use the straw in 2 days and she loves it.

Terrible design. I had to try it three times before finally getting any liquid out : you have to bite down on the straw to sip - what a strange and frustrating design. My daughter does not like it.
