So delighted with our choice!!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This was perfect for what we needed. Uses kcups. Has a "strong" or "hot" choice buttons. I can use the pot to make my decaf green tea (Davidson's) dried tea leaves, then delute to make my ice tea. More compact. It is also great for someone with low-vision issues. Front controls not top. Hot plate on coffee pot is easy to shut off. Compared & checked all and it came down to this one. We used our last Keurig for over 15 years. I was not surprised with my comparison shopping that I was always coming back to a Keurig.Build quality:It's a Keurig. Keurig is quality!Functionality:Amazing.Features:Just what we need. The "strong" option was essential. The coffee pot spout is an easy pour new design, no spills to clean up. My french press still makes the best iced coffee, sorry Keurig.Leakage:Not that I've seen.Size:The coffee pot is a good capacity w/ a great pour spout.

Variety of coffee and good cup of coffee
I bought this for my very picky parents, my dad wants the k-cup and my mom hates the k-cups so this has both options. The large carafe makes very good coffee and the single serve with the hot/cold option is a hit with my dad so win-win. So far, after about 2 months of use and no issues, just great coffee. But, don’t compare this to a moka pot, the carafe is closer to a French press coffee but a step down. But, that’s pretty good for a coffee maker imo. It’s easy to use, I would say idiot proof but don’t want to offend, but it’s very easy to use and clean and makes a good cup of coffee with different options for different types of coffee and it’s way cheaper than going to a coffee shop.

Great for a Divided Household
My wife likes to drink different coffee every day and I like the same brewed coffee in a pot. This gives my wife and I the best of both worlds. I get my pot of coffee and she gets her flavor cups. The holding tank could be a little bigger, but all in all you can either get about 6 12oz k cups or one pot of coffee to brew from one full reservoir of coffee. Would highly recommend.

Pray the "Descale" Light Never Comes On
OK, this thing makes a good cup of coffee. And why shouldn't it. All it has to do is run water through the k-cup. It does that just fine. The coffee is hot, as it should be. Everything is ok until that dreaded "Descale" light comes on. Then it all just goes to Hades!I followed the instructions to descale the thing, but the light didn't go off. So I did it again, light still on! I ran straight vinegar through it twice! Still have the light on! Now, I'm getting a little put out. I went so far as to buy Keurig's descale kit. Followed the instructions, again, but still no joy! Light is still on! I looked online to see what magic button I push to make the light go out. Followed all those instructions. Still have light on! This is the "Check Engine" light of coffee makers!I have been making 10-12 12 oz. cups of coffee per day for the last 3 months with the light on. Coffee is still hot and tastes fine!I AM DONE WITH DESCALING!Would I buy this same unit again? Probably not, but I wouldn't buy another brand either! I think the way to solve the "Descaling" light problem is to hit garage sales and buy an old Mr. Coffee.

An excellent coffee maker
We've had this K-Duo for over a week now and we're very happy with it. It makes great drip coffee from grounds and single cups from K-cup pods. Like any electronic device, it takes a little while to get used to the quirks, but we had it down in a day. Many reviewers have complained about the Auto Brew function -- yes, it would have been nice to activate it daily with just a single button push, but in order to activate the Auto Brew on this unit you have to push a couple of buttons a few times. But you do NOT have to reprogram the start time (which is what we were led to believe from some of the more vehement reviews), and honestly, it's not difficult to simply push a button a few more times! When preparing a single cup, we like the ability to make a stronger and/or a hotter brew. We've tried out the iced coffee function and that seems to work fine, we're just not iced coffee fans, but we might change our tune as summer kicks in.All in all, we're very pleased with this purchase.

I bought this to upgraded my older duo , the 5 prongs instead of 1 make a big difference. I am very happy with this purchase.
