It’s been 6yrs since I bought a computer. I’m happy with this choice. So far I’m adding in my files from my old computer. I like the way it works and you get to where you going like a snap of your fingers. The screen colors a lovely and I’m just loving this computer.

This is an excellent laptop for the price. I have owned several HP CP-XXXX laptops over the past few years. I have a bad habit of spilling liquids on them. The one I chose this time has a AMD Ryzen 5 chip with Radeon graphics, 1 TB SSD drive and 32 GB of memory. It did not come with a manual or a specs. sheet. I contacted the seller and he said that they don't come with these. So, I had to search. I went to HP but their website is really bad. I knew about this in the past when I purchased laptops directly from HP.Next I tried AMD. Good luck finding the software to check the specs. Finally, I searched or freeware to check the specs. Speccy by CCleaner (a company I have known for more years than I would like to admit) gave me the info. that I needed. My chip is an AMD Ryzen 5 7430U with Radeon graphics. It has 12 threads which is good for speed. The audio is only stated as high definition anywhere I checked but I searched for Realtek which is what they usually use for the audio software. It does have it. This one does. All components are standard HP generic components. That is good. I have never had a problem with an HP computer (my first was in 1998). I hate their website and their sales people but I love their machines. I would not buy any other brand.Now to the promised MS Office 2021 or 2024 (I didn't even know which one was offered). It didn't work. I clicked it and nothing happened. I contacted the seller who gave me a license key. Microsoft accepted this key but when I tried to use Excel, I received the message "Your copy of Microsoft Office Professional 2021 cannot be activated because the specified Product Key has already been activated the maximum number of times permitted for your software license ...............". This tells me that the software was pirated. I know all about this because my ex-husband was a software pirate. So, you will not be able to use the MS Office. You will only be buying the laptop. Just download and install LibreOffice. It's free and works well. I have an Associates degree in Office Technologies which included extensive training in MS Office. LibreOffice is the next best thing.Now for what is actually very good about it. HP states that the laptop warranty is active with months remaining 10, days remaining 15. So, if anything is wrong with it that you didn't cause HP will repair it or send you to a dealer who is HP authorized and they will pay for the repair. HP has always had me send laptops to them in the past.I did buy the 2-Year Protection Plan through Asurion because it does include accidental damage including spills. This is much better coverage than protection plans through Allstate (a company I despise for numerous reasons--Auto, Home, Protection Plans).Overall, I give this seller four stars. He did sell me a great computer at the best price but he wasn't helpful in other ways.

Never buy from this seller Alpacatec! They sold me a supposed brand new HP laptop that kept crashing. Alpacatec then told me tough luck because I only had 30 days to return the item! When I called HP to exercize the 1 year mfg warranty they denied it and said that based on the Alpacatec add itself the mfg. warranty was voided because HP supposedly does not sell that model HP laptop with that amount of 32 GB RAM. HP says that they only sell 16 GB RAM so the Mfg warranty is completely void. Alpacatec then told me tough luck because I only had 30 days to return the item! So I was stuck with a crap HP laptop 3 mos old with no HP MFG warranty. I will never buy another HP product again either! However, Amazon stepped up and offered a full refund !!! I can say that Amazon did the right thing where as neither Alpacatec or HP gave a damn. Stay away from both, Alpacatec and HP, they have no moral compass! If you buy from Alpacatec you dont know what kind of crap product you will get!

If you are shopping for a computer in this price range then you probably know more than me about all the specs. What I know is it's solid, great picture and full size keyboard sold me. HP has never let me down and this one delivers on everything promised plus it's sleek look. I will add it doesn't have a lit keyboard, kind of wish it did. But still by far the best deal according to my trusted Internet tech guy from work.

very happy with the performance, look and feel of the laptop. easy to setup. i like the backlit keyboard feature too. Battery life is ok.
