I've been using amazon for almost 15 years now, and never written a review for any product ever. But this device has now changed that. I can't even begin to describe how useful this has been in my daily life. You would think that with voice recorders on smartphones that something like this would be redundant, but there is something about the simplicity of simply having to press down on the device for a moment and then just start talking, instead of having to pull your phone out, unlock it, and then find the right app, and then push a button and start talking. Even if you've remapped a button on your phone to voice record, this is still a much easier and quicker way to take note of your thoughts, and since you're wearing it using one of the provided attachments, it's always easily accessible. And that's not even mentioning the AI integration of this device. The ability to recognize multiple speakers and group ideas and thoughts into well organized mind-maps and layouts has been invaluable to me. I've tried countless note-taking systems using regular paper, e-ink tables, laptops, and this device is far superior, at least for me, and is also easy to integrate into existing systems since it obviously converts your words into text to be used any way you want later. I was impressed by the build quality as well. Solid metal, and very apple like. The battery life is also very impressive at about 18 hours of continuous recording on a full charge. I usually only have to charge mine once every two weeks. Even the wearable accessories are of good quality. I normally use the silicone wrist band and find it very comfortable to wear all day. Even the companies customer service is outstanding. I had an issue where my device wasn't charging at all, so I sent support an email and a video of me showing what it was doing and immediately they sent me a replacement which arrived within 2 business days. I highly recommend this device if you're looking for a more efficient way to organize your cluttered mind, or are just interested in Artificial Intelligence capabilities. The 300 minutes of free AI transcriptions per month is more than enough for my daily use, but I wouldn't hesitate to purchase their unlimited plan, especially after knowing how excellent their customer support is. I look forward to seeing what products this company has in store for the future.

Had issues where my pin just stopped connecting and my desktop app stopped syncing to the cloud. Support helped me to troubleshoot and they ended up both replacing my pin and sending me a new version of the desktop app. Customer service is excellent! They were responsive, polite, kind, understanding, helpful, and fast. Highly recommend! And, the app has been extremely useful for me with recording and summarizing anything from Dr's appointments to meetings to classes. It captures the summaries and to do items quite well and the templates for generating summaries are vast. Great product and high quality support!

Update: Update: changed rating based on customer support stepping up. Plaud customer support responded and is sending out a new device. They explained how to upload all previous data so I do not lose it. I will have new device in one day. Took a bit of time, but they came through and sincerely apologized for the inconvenience and I appreciated that and the way they are handling my issue.I gave it only two stars instead of only 1 because it did last a couple of months. I should have read the low star reviews before buying this. The Plaud device stopped connecting to the app on my phone. I tied everything that they said for almost 2 days. Customer support kept telling me to do the same things over and over and over again. I had my tech department at work try to do it. They also followed all the instructions that the AI support gave us. Watchedb YouTube videos. Nothing. Throwing it away. Now I'm back to searching for a decent AI recorder /transcriber sadly. Any recommendations? Please share
