The media could not be loaded.  I did not upload my unboxing video in the proper place the first time so I am doing it again under the product review section. we are an avid tea drinkers and when we were in Taiwan visiting a tea shop and they had various tea set on display by YHT and they were very nice but a little bit out of our price range; so we end up only getting couple of tea cups as gifts. So we were actually very surprised to discover YHT also being listed on Amazon here; one interesting about this tea cup that some metallic minerals were added to the clay and the tea cup is actually heavier then most traditional chinese tea cups; and coating is also quite shinny; you can use it as display items for your house if needed; very nice product and packaged very well!

Its a great cup. It holds liquids. You can then proceed to drink them. Then you start over, pour more liquid in, and then drink it once more. The colors are nice to look at. The silver bits perfectly reflect the color of the tea I drink out of it. My only complaint is that the box it comes in has a fake velvet material that leaves a bunch of little yellow fibers all over the cup. Make sure you wash the cup with boiling water thoroughly before use to avoid drinking the weird little fibers. I originally planned to store the cup in the box while not using it, but I don't want to wash these fibers off every time I use it. Would be nice if they figured out a better material which sheds less for the inside of that box so it can be used in a convenient and practical way instead of just being an overly engineered display piece for the trash dump.

I have ordered every version of these beautiful tea cups that I can find ... and if more versions become available, I will buy those too! They're wonderful ... the depth of the colors make them beautifully translucent. It's important to note for prospective buyers - as hand created works of art, there are slight variations in each one so it's best to use the pictures in the listings as examples - yours will look different. Nevertheless, you will be very happy ... they are stunning. I noticed that if I shine my small flashlight into the piece, an explosion of color and light are reflected back. I love 'em ... Thanks.

So far I have been drinking Taiwan high mountain Jinxuan tea in the two jianzhan teacups I purchased here. The taste is smoother with a slight subtle difference due to the iron content in the glaze; very enjoyable. I purchased the jianzhan for the artistic enjoyment; therefore, the ability to relax with a cup of tea is an added value. The teacup is very adorable; quite small and quite heavy. Due to the design, it is not very hot to touch so you can handle it with ease. I have started to collect jianzhan teacups and these have added very well to my collection.

Very small. Perfect for what I wanted.I have 3 daughters, and we are all different elements. I bought one for each of us. The packaging is adorable and special enough that they can keep them forever on a shelf, display or use out of the box.Can hold rings or mayb a bracelet if they want to as well.Highly reccomend!!

I received this cup in the mail today and the detail is beautiful. I love my herbal teas. I know how these cups are made and am fascinated by the technique. However I was disappointed in the size of the cup because when I drink tea, I think of an actual tea cup sized bowl and not a shot glass.

Beautiful workmanship, and it gives me joy to use it for tea, sake, or just anything if I want to really savor and enjoy.Update: I liked it so much, I got a second one in brown to give to my son. This one arrived with no cup in the box.I was able to get a replacement via Amazon.

This is so beautiful and true to the product photo. Was looking for a nice little cup to enjoy my sake in and I'm so pleased with how well crafted it is that I think I'll be buying the other colors for when I have guests.

when i saw these i went to the Tenmoku site. Beautiful. So i ordered one. The ones on the Tenmoku site are not the same size as these. The pictures are somewhat deceptive - whoever is holding the cup is probably a child - very small hands. I must share some of the blame - i did not notice the size as stated. But very deceptive marketing. These are the size a child would use in a tea set. They are pretty though.

I totally love this tea cup. I was not sure the colour would be right, but it is just what I had hoped for. Price is pretty good as well
