Worth the money
This is a nice piece of equipment. Feels a little bigger in the hand then I was expecting but comfortable. It's kind of heavy, which is great for horizontal surfaces like tables but if you're sanding a wall it can be a touch heavy. Can be held multiple ways to change it up a bit. Feels well made, solid. Just an on/off switch, that's it. No speed setting. The pad has a little flexibility to it so it's good for sanding objects with some curves to them. The pad has like a velcro surface so you just stick the 8 hole sanding disks on it and when the disk is spent you just peel it off. I recommend buying the sanding disks at the same time you buy the machine, it just makes like easier. I bought the recommended multi-pak for like $10 and it was all I needed.

Good
This is a great little sander. The work vacuum attachment is a big upgrade from a mouse sander

Good dust collection
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this sander from Amazon in April, and a variable speed version from a hardware store last year. Both are quieter, have less vibration, and great dust collection.I had/have a problem with both, that Bosch doesn't seem to think exists. The gentleman from customer service told me last year... "you're just not used to the orbital motion." (I've been building furniture and doing remodeling for years.)As in the video I posted, you can see the excessive amount of wobble the sander has, which develops within a day or so of average use. This action does not leave swirl marks, but compounds fatigue while sanding. My worry is will this problem worsen, to a point where it does become detrimental to the finish.

Good little sander
I bought this to sand next to the wall board molding when I sanded my wood floors. Worked OK but I was quickly wishing I had a more powerful unit, but they cost 4 times as much. The dust collection works good for smaller projects, I attached a shop vac with a filter for the floor project and didn't get a speck of dust.

DANGEROUS-Sanding plate flew across the garage. UPDATE
This is unacceptable. After less than 10 minutes of usage the sander started to make a noise. I started to lift the sander up and the sanding plate flew across my garage like a missile. Luckily there was no one in front of it. I retrieved it. The disk had ripped through some foam I had wrapped up. I called Bosch, their response was, "did I loosen or tighten any screws before using it."UPDATE - Received a replacement from Bosch. I knew there was something wrong straightaway. It was stalling out within seconds. I reduced pressure to get it back up to speed and see if it improved. 2 minutes in and I could smell plastic melting. I removed the sanding disc and placed it on the same Bosch model I purchased 5 months ago and sanded the wood with no issues. Something has changed in their quality. I was using 120 grit.

This is the sander you need / want
I got two of these units to sand a deck, all the detail work 100s of sheets of paper worth. These are high quality sanders I would look no further.
