I needed an ankle support after spraining my ligaments badly.This item has been so good, lightweight but supportive. It is easy to put on and tighten or loosen. I developed a rash after using a neoprene one but no such problem with this one. Good value for money.

I damaged my ligaments in my ankle from it inverting but I had a city break booked and there was no way I was letting my injury ruin it.I used the sleeve and strap for around 8-10 hours a day and it certainly helped. I was in a lot of pain by the end but this has provided enough support to stop my ankle tipping again and helped a lot with the swelling.The fact there are two pieces helps too. It's easy to stick the strap over a normal sock without the sleeve if you just need a little extra support. I have worn it a lot since then and I would say the wear and tear of it has been normal. A little fraying here and there but nothing major that affects its functionality.The one thing I would change is the 'SleeveStars' logo that sits on the top of the foot. It has no right being that scratchy and stiff. It's very irritating. There is no need for it. I know the brand, I bought it after all, I don't need it etched into the top of my foot inside my shoe where no one else can see it anyway.

A great product, very good quality and offers a lot of support.Comes in 2 parts, a sleeve and a strap which gives you the confidence to carry on exercising and carrying on with normal daily routine after an injury.The customer service team are also very helpful if you have any issues.

My ankle is within the size limits but at the upper end, the support feels too small. It does offer some pain relief at rest but none when walking. Worn under boots it’s uncomfortable. Firstly because of the strap fastenings and secondly because of the heavily embossed logos on both sides which are completely unnecessary and frankly a stupid idea when it’s designed to be worn over a possibly swollen ankle. After one days use the stitching on the ankle sock has started come undone. I don’t think I will ever buy something which is one size fits all again.

I took this out the pack and wanted to cry. It looked so small I didn’t think I’d be able to twist my badly sprained ankle into it. HOWEVER it’s the softest yet supportive thing ever. I absolutely LOVE this. It has two parts the sock part which I wear over my socks/tights and the strap which is elastic. It holds and supports my ankle and I’m able to keep it on for hours. Other reviews said it left an indentation of the logo, I’ve not had this. If you look closely you will actually spot a part for where the heal is ment to placed so the logo shouldn’t leave any marks. My ankle was very bad couldn’t walk on it at all but this has helped to keep it in place but still have the flexibility you need to walk. I’m also able to wear my trainers with this on and it feels comfortable.

I’ve found this to be an excellent support. Having the two layers really makes a difference. The support it gives has made it possible for me to play badminton of recent. Without it I would have been in pain and forced to stop during play.Totally recommend this for additional ankle support.

I broken my ankle a few months ago, and am unable to walk properly yet. I bought this just to try it out and it works wonders! The sleeve is too small for my foot, but I used a sock under the strap and it works all the same. I feel I can walk better already. It's easy to put on. Couldn't recommend more highly!

For some weeks I've had the most agonising pain from plantar fasciitis, that only a fellow suffering would know. I've even resorted to crawling on rising being unable to put my foot to the floor! I have bought many aids in an attempt to be able to weight bear, including insoles, socks, splints, exercise manuals etc and this was one of the socks I purchased. Unlike the other socks, I've found this one to be much more forgiving for the foot, very firm yet very comfortable and stretching easily for my for my Size 8, extra wide foot. The extra strap provided provides incredible support for the foot. I could not believe it when I stood up in this, I could actually walk without the severe pain!! I am able to move around and carry on as normal although the foot is uncomfortable, the pain has gone! I have only been wearing this wonderful sock for 4 days and I would say that with the sock and band on, the pain is reduced by around 95% and another part of the miracle, without it, ie in the night and when I get up, the pain is reduced by around 70% so I'm hoping that wearing this support, it is not only enabling me to walk pain free but is allowing the foot to heal. I've just purchased a second one as I am definitely not going to be without it now that I've found it!! Very, very highly recommended for Plantar Fasciitis...
