I have taken this for years. I'm 77 and in great health!

WE have been taking this brand of astaxanthin for several years, ever since I heard Dr. Mercola on Dr. Oz discussing "The most important supplement you never heard of." I am not very brand loyal, but this seems to be the best price. The important thing is to get NATURAL astaxanthin. Right now Amazon has the best price available anywhere. This also contains lutein, and has safflower oil as the medium, along with E to protect the astaxanthin. Gluten-free also, which is essential for us, but I think most are.The main thing I notice when I run out is that my knee does not bother me (had surgery for osteochondritis 25 years ago, and my knee still reminds me of it occasionally). This also does not upset my stomach in any way.

I truly feel that this has helped my immune systems so much. I do not have a spleen, so my immune system has been an issue in the past. I took 3 a day for a yr or more, and then my immune system started showing up normal on my blood work. My Dr. never thought that my immune system would ever be normal again, so this is great news! I now take 2 a day unless I feel I need a boost, and that seems to take care of me.

May be a good product but has done nothing for me that I am aware of. Have been taking it (and other brands of Astaxanthin) for quite awhile nevertheless in hopes that it may be working without my awareness. Will continue to trust Dr. Oz and others though and keep taking it.
