The Sims 2 University Life Collection - PC

This game is a GREAT buy, not to mention it's a smart one. It completely adds a new aspect to the game for teenage sims transitioning into adulthood. It's a load of fun exploring all the new features and content and I highly recommend it! Install this with the Apartment Life EP, and you have a great new experience to explore.

The university element is a great addition to the game, it opens up all sorts of opportunities and interactions. Adult Sims definitely reap a lot of experience and benefits if they go to college before entering the work force, including Art, Show Business, Natural Science, and Paranormal career paths that are only available to college grads. Definitely one of the better expansions. The stuff packs were a nice touch and it's not that much more money to get this one than just the expansion. The Teen Style is a good choice if you really like to customize bedrooms and spend a lot of time on teenaged Sims, and the Ikea furniture is a surprisingly varied collection. All in all a good choice.

We had nothing but trouble with this expansion pack. We are running The Sims 2, Nightlife and Pets on Windows Vista, and simply could not use this game. It constantly froze up during play. When we investigated out on the Internet, we discovered that this is a common problem with this pack. So be forewarned, it is loads of fun, but you might have a very disappointing experience.

Came as described! Key code worked and I experienced no issues at all! If you’re looking to purchase the physical copy due to EA no longer selling it on Origin, this is the way to go!

Glad we could get this edition - love to play it

For some reason, i like Sims 2 University Better than Sims 3 because there seems to be more LIFE about the sims in 2 than in 3. Just as an example, I love that the "secret society" isnt just some omnious building with stuff in it but actually gives space to play out in your imagination because its not readily available. Same goes for sororiety and fraternity life. I've yet to have any of my sims that have been in university try to friend a memory of the houses but having the option extends my game play. In Sims 3, I almost always automatically have my girls join the sorority house, no trouble. :x

Great game. The only problem i Have with sims games is that when you uninstall them and try to reinstall is that they come up and tell you that the game is already installed and will not let you reinstalled the game. Most other progams will at least tell you that the game is installed , do you wish to overwrite. you say yes and the problem is solved. THis is not the case with the sims. I have at least 2 expansions packs that i can not use because of this problem. I have tried every thing and the only thing that worked is a reformat of the hard drive. And believe me sooner or later your will have to reload the program.

It's bascially like your Sim student has a job - they spend almost all of their time studying and doing assignments. You don't get to see them in an actual classroom. The class & tests times are random and often silly - who goes to class at 2 AM? And there are major bugs, with students disappearing from the game when you have them move out of the dorms. That's beyond annoying. You spend all that time getting them to grow up, go to college and do well and they're wiped out! Not fun! I'm sorry I wasted my time and money with this expansion.
