good ventilation and stops insect entry
unfortunately my exterior dryer vent is a considerable distance from the machine as a result the air pressure could not open the flaps and as such I was getting condensation in the pipe and ceiling.This ducting allows the air to vent out irrespective of strength of pressure and whilst has not completely solved my issue has gone a long way toward doing so - so great product for me
