Q: Can this brush also be used on stainless steel without scratching?

The Tenacious C was designed with cast iron in mind, so we'd recommend some other scouring pads that we have, like our Neat Nut or In a Nutshell, as it does an amazing job cleaning up stains without scratching, just perfect for your stainless steel cookware!

Q: Why does the product information list the country of origin as usa when the packaging states "responsibly made in china"?

This is typical of many products. They are designed by US companies and jobbed out to Chinese slave labor to make the product for the American Co. That's my best guess. I don't really know. The brush works well.

Tenacious C bristles are made out of Nylon.

Q: Have anyone ised this to scarpe a rustic cast iron pan? I have one but i fortunately I didn't know how to maintain and it got rustic

Ya it works well for me. Along with the edge scraper that came with my pan. Then after scrubbing rust off rinse. Dry pan and oil it all over put in oven on 325 for 20 minutes

Bristles melted

No better than a cheap brush ... bristles melted when cleaning my cast iron pan

Good cast iron brush!

I bought this to replace an old Lodge cast iron brush that had gotten a little past its prime. It seems to be doing the exact same job, with the added bonus of having a scraper edge for trickier bits. I haven't had any issues with the brush melting but I am usually careful about letting the pan cool down somewhat before I clean it.
