First, let me say that I do not dislike this watch. I gave this 3 stars only because of their advertising. In fact, it is very pretty and will suit my needs. However, for the person who, like me, has searched for a watch for a long time, I hope this review will be helpful. Some things you need to know, don't let the advertising lure you into thinking you are getting a $400 watch for about $100. I got mine for less than $100. Akribos marks up their watches to $400 only to drop the actual price a lot lower so that you think you are getting a fantastic deal. This watch is what it is...a $100 watch. It is not any where the quality of a Rolex so don't think that it is. The watch may also have a Swiss movement but it is assembled in Hong Kong. That being said, I like the watch. It is bigger than I thought it would be but I have no problems reading it. Since I am a teacher of the Deaf and use American Sign Language, I do have to take this watch off while I teach. It is heavier than I was expecting so be cognizant of that if you do not like heavy watches or work in a profession that requires a lot of hand movement. I like the dials as well as the overall look and feel of the watch. It is easy to set. The directions are fair. I still don't know what size battery it needs or anything about the battery compartment. That would be nice to have in the directions. You will need to take this watch to have the band resized or do what I did and watched a video on how to do this myself. With the right tools, it will take less than 30 sec. to adjust. I cannot comment on the durability as I've only had this watch for about a week. Once I've worn this longer, I'll come back and repost. Again, overall, it's a nice watch for the price.

Arrived on time. Beautiful watch for a great price. Purchased a link remover and adjusted it myself, needed about three links removed to fit on my wrist. Top right button adjusts right side face calendar date, central "crown" on right adjusts time/day, and bottom right button adjusts the 24 hour/GMT face at the bottom. The face on the left side can only be adjusted when the time passes "midnight" when you're setting the time, and the pointer will only fully point to the day around 4 am (this one had me stumped for awhile), and move slightly during the day. Looks very classy, can't wait to wear long term.

I purchased this watch 5 months ago and wear it daily. It has a big face, is heavy and easy to read. I constantly receive compliments on how classy and elegant it is. It has just the right amount of "diamonds" that most people assume they are real. I am a work at home mom who runs a small farm and food co-op from home while I raise my children, so I am constantly washing my hands. I love that I don't have to worry about water getting on it. I wouldn't wear it into the shower, but I don't ever take it off to wash my hands either. EDITED TO ADD: Nearly 4 years after original purchase- 4 years of HARD wear and tear and one of the knobs fell off. I might ask for a new one for Christmas and wear that one for special occasions and keep the knob-less one for every day wear.

Loved this watch. HOWEVER purchased 1st one and had to return because it was shipped broken (band was broken). They quickly replaced broken item with new and LOVED LOVED LOVED this watch. Got many compliments on it. HOWEVER it only lasted 37 days and my NEW replaced watch band broke. I went to click on to return this item for a replacement and it fell out the the 30 day return policy so now I am stuck with a 37 day old watch that I cannot wear. Buyer beware! Very Very disappointed.

I love Akribos watches. I have another style Arkibos watch that was very simple to remove links. This watch, not so much. Can you please provide instructions on how to remove links from this watch. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase as well as shipping.

The hands became loose after only wearing it a few times. I sent it in along with a $15 check for shipping several months ago and have not received a repaired watch back, a replacement, or a response from them after trying to contact them.Very disappointed and will not be purchasing anything made by them, again.Save your money and purchase a better brand!

Great looking watch for the price. The case size is good for my small wrist; doesn't overwhelm it like some in this style. I did have to remove a few links, but purchased a kit on Amazon and was able to do it myself. The date subdial is a little hard to read, and setting it required reading instructions. It seems to keep good time, but it has only been a couple weeks.

Such a lovely watch...a little heavy and I had to have lots of links taken out, but I enjoy wearing it very much. the little dials are too small for me to read, but I am sure I wouldn't use those anyway....

I bought this watch for a Nurse who is looking after a family member. Unfortunately her old watch broke, so I purchased this Akribos watch as a gift. I picked this up at a reasonable price for a good quality watch, bare in mind it's price fluctuates a lot on AmazonOne thing you must keep in mind is that the “original price” that gets listed along with the sale price is extremely overinflated. None of these watches actually retail for these prices; it is a marketing strategy to make people think they’re getting a better deal. I got mine for around £16 so not complaining!Here’s the bottom line: these are Chinese watch companies that use high quality Swiss made parts and gorgeous designs for their watches. Because they’re made in China, you get fantastic prices. And the verdict of the watch, the nurse loves it and has said she has received many complements. Glad I could get her something that makes her feel special

This has condensation in the glass constantly, I have tried everything to get rid of it since I have had the watch but nothing works!! I can't tell the time, so no longer wear the watch. It is such a shame as I love it!! I brought it fir this reason. It has never been near water yet has this issue?? I even double checked the spec and it says it is water proof?? yet it has condensation within the watch that has never been near water?!Please can someone contact me with help with this issue please, as I am not sure how to contact directthanks you.

This product arrived on time and is goregus and good quality. It's about big for me so I'll have to get it resized for me, other than that it's great!

Great purchase. Looks great so far. Hopefully it won't fade.
