I’ve bought a number of TP-Link products over the years and aways found them to be of high quality and easy to set up. This product was no exception. I had read reviews from many people installing the T2U Nano on Windows but not many on Mac. It could not have been easier, I downloaded the software from another computer, copied it to a USB memory stick and had it installed in less than 5 minutes (I am running Mac OS 10.15). Rather than have to fork out on an expensive repair for my old 27in iMac it now has a new lease of life. I have found the connection to be quick with no drop outs so far.

Purchased lots of wireless dongles, and although this is a known make to me, not this one. Plug and play, speed is acceptable and the flashing light is an added comfort to know it’s working!Nothing to add really, good value and does what is expected!

Adapter works as intended, decent signal strength and worked instantly after plugging it in (Windows 10). My only complaint is the little green light that flashes CONSTANTLY. And there isn’t a way of disabling it, what is the point of a little flashing light? Just constantly lets you know it Is still working.

I purchased the TP-Link AC600 USB Wi-Fi Dongle to boost my PC’s wireless connectivity, and it has exceeded my expectations. In the process of updating an ageing laptop (Toshiba C850), have already installed a Crucial SSD and extra RAM (reviewed elsewhere on Amazon), but no matter what I did I could not get decent internet despite having BT ultrafast 150. This was due to the actual hardware within the LT... It has 10/100 Lan port and a 802.11n wifi card, as I never use the LAN port, my best option was to upgrade the wireless, this could be done one of two ways, buy a new PCIe mini card and strip the machine down to fit it, or go for a dongle... I decided the latter was the easiest option... order around 8PM on Sunday, special deal price too, delivered around 11AM Monday so no complaints there.After placing my order, I went onto the tp-link website and downloaded the driver software in anticipaton of receiving the goods.... On receipt, removed from packet, plugged into USB 2 socket, (it sticks out about 1CM) windows made the usual bing sound when a USB is added, the dongle flashed green, ran the software, dongle flashed green, went out, then went to solid green and software confirmed success.... However, (this is on Win10), the Lappy was still connected via the old wifi card and on clicking the WiFi symbol, confirmed was still connected to 2.4 network, with the 5g network not showing... At the top of the list of available networks there is a dropdown box, clicked on this and it showed WiFi and WiFi2, the TP-Link being the latter, after selecting 2, the list populated with 2.4 & 5g networks, clicked on mine, signed in and connected almost immediately.... I then proceeded to run the ookla speedtest app to see what improvements had occured.... bearing in mind, my ethernet connected PC recieves 151 down and for some strange reason the last few days has been achieving 50+ upload speed (only supposed to get 30).... the tests were run just prior and after installation, using the same servers, I am also in the living room with it on my lap, so a wall, various electrical devices and a bit of distance from the router (Asus RT-AC86).... the orignal card was averaging around the 47Mbs mark with uploads 30ish.... with TP-link, the best speed achieved was 146 down and 57 up but average was about 135-140d/l, so I am getting a huge increase in speed, virtually to the maximum of my service and what I get through a hardwired connection so this little thing realy does what it is supposed to....Bottom line, with a few hardware changes, and an OEM copy of Windows 10 Pro, I have dragged a slow, laggy laptop into the modern era all for around £100 (OK the CPU / GPU are still poor by modern day, but at least it is useable for most daily non heavy demand tasks)
