Works to keep squirrels off our bird feeders
We have been battling squirrels getting into our birdfeeders and destroying them for a couple of decades now. I have tried absolutely everything in the book, and none of it ever worked. The squirrels always managed to win our battle and destroy my birdfeeders and eat all the seed. Putting these slinky’s on the bird poles actually works. I was completely shocked. It’s probably the cheapest solution we’ve ever tried, and the only one that worked.

More than one use!
I did not get this as a toy. I put a tall shepherds hook through it, pulled it to the top and attached it so that it hangs down. The squirrels will not try to climb it anymore to reach the feeder hanging on the hook. Just what I wanted!

you would of thought this thing was gold when my son got it for Christmas it was THE toy i had one when i was kid and enjoyed it and figured he would too boy was i right had to buy a second one as a back up

Perfect Fidget toy
I purchased this for a senior relative who has dementia as a fidget toy. If you aren't aware, people with dementia like to work something in their hands a lot...I don't know why....but this is perfect.Actually, when I opened it I had to play with it for a while and it is soothing. It is the same as the one I had as a child and that was a zillion years ago.A wonderful, long lasting item that is under $5 and will last forever.......perfect.

Use it on my bird feeders shepherds hook
This is the smaller size slinky. But I bought this for my bird feeder shepherds hook, in the yard. The squirrels climb up the hook and attack my bird feeders. So I threaded the shepherds hook through the slinky, and now this completely discourages the squirrels from attempting to climb up it. Simply solution, but it works great.
