Huge time saver
I finally broke down and go this for the tile job in my house. With almost 2,500 square feet of tile to lay, this looked to be the easy way to get my lines straight. It's pretty much pop the batteries in and push the button. First use was to layout the tile down a hall that had about 1/4 total clearance with full tile widths on the width, and this made it a breeze. I've used string lines and chalk lines, string gets in the way and does not stay tight or straight when you start hitting it and chalk lines get covered up. I was shooting down over 30' with clear laser lines on the floor all the way, made setting tile a breeze, especially since I am using rapid-set thin-set for the first run (isle that I need to walk on before tomorrow). If I was using any other method, I'd be stuck mixing small batches and setting 2-3 tiles at a time, I could run with full buckets with this.Only issue I ran into is very minor, the time-out is a little on the short side, I think it's about 45 minutes and it shuts off. I like that as it will save on the batteries, but unless you reset it after every bucket of thin-set, it will shut off on you.I have also used this for laying out for framing walls and it works really well for that too. I almost forgot I had it when I was laying out 3 rooms and this made life a lot easier. This will pretty much made any straight line/45/90 degree layout job easy, whether it be tile, framing or whatever else you are doing.

Effective right angle marking
It's lightweight, functions well for marking out for instance layout of a room or wall. The downsides are it's powered by AA batteries and not a battery pack or such and the magnet underneath it is not the strongest when applying on other metal surfaces. Still works wonders for it's compact design.

Hands down the best Laser Square
I've been a tile contractor for more than thirty years and have been using laser tools since they first came out. Back then you could pay thousands of dollars for a spinning line laser. I have used Dewalt ,Rubi, Straightline, other bosch's, etc. and this one is the best. I kinda balked at the price because now you can get good laser's for about half of what this sells for if you watch sales. Now that I have this one I wish I would have got it years ago. The line is crisp ,narrow but consistent and bright and best of all it has a 45 degree feature. the design allows you to have the tool behind the lines you are checking/creating. Some lasers sit right on the line wihich makes it harder to use when you have already set the tile and are checking them for square. After a new purchase I always double check my laser squares to make sure they are precise and this one is the most accurate I've ever had and it seems to be solidly built. I even use it for single lines because unlike most lasers this one is the same thickness from the start all the way to thirty feet out and more. I'm getting one for all my tile setters. If you've never used a laser square this one pays for itself in one or two jobs.

Works well, but you need a stand
This works as good as I could have expected. A set of stilts or maybe some kind of lifter would have been marvelous. I'm sure if you're using regular spacers and not those wedges and spinners, you won't need any adjustment to the height, but with the spinners and the wedges, you'll need a box or something to set it on to get over the big blocks that those levelers create. What makes this still a5 start product is twofold.1. It's been around since before those gigantic spinners and levelers.2. It shoots a plane of light instead of just a beam, so, if you raise it up, like setting it on a box or bucket, it'll still shine a line where you need it to.

GTLS Tile Laser
Exactly what was advertised. I am disappointed in the product. I thought it would be more precise in laying out my island kitchen - this is why I only gave it 3 stars. If you are not careful and keep paying attention it will throw you off. I found it is better to actually lay your tile out with spacers before starting. I did find it is great tool to span the laser down the room to what the cuts will be like as you are laying out your job.

Tile Work Made Easy: How This Tool Helped Me Align Everything
This tool has been an absolute lifesaver for me, as a DIY enthusiast with limited tile work experience, who was looking for an alternative to replacing the carpet in my basement. It helped me maintain proper alignment throughout the entire process, and I highly recommend it to others looking to take on similar projects. Although it may be a bit pricey, it has already proven its durability, as it kept aligned and bright even after I accidentally dropped my saw horse table on it.
