This stuff works really well, but one can will only do one outdoor table and 4 chairs. It only requires one coat, and does a really good job of waterproofing. It isn't great with sun dulling, but you should put a cover on something like that anyhow. It's very easy to apply, but be very careful doing outside with wind.
