Easy to take and works very well. I can tell a difference in feeling better. Helps with the piracetam I take for better cognitive function as it deletes choline. This product works great if you need to get choline levels up.

Having done a lot of research on various supplements, I have found that Alpha-GPC is one of the strongest and most effective of the choline supplements. I bought this particular supplement for both my mother and I because pharmaceutical grade means that there are less fillers, and the product is more "pure". My mother gets 1200 mg per day because she has dementia, and this is the effective dose used in studies. For her, this is split into two. So she gets 600 mg twice a day. I take 600 mg once a day. Almost immediately, I noticed an increase in energy and I felt more mentally in-tune.After a couple of weeks, I noticed that this effect was going away and I actually was feeling more tired than before. With some research, I found out that Uridine should also be taken with Alpha-GPC as a choline regulator. So I bought the Uridine in this brand, and started taking 300 mg per day. That did it. The energy came back, and I am feeling really good. My mother is getting 300 mg twice a day of the Uridine. These supplements should be taken in conjunction with an Omega-3 supplement for effectiveness.UPDATE 11/22/16I have changed the supplements for my mother and myself so that we are both taking multi-supplements that include most of the individual ones we were taking. Although I continued use of Alpha GPC and Uridine for my mother, I stopped taking them. I started feeling tired all the time, and my level of ambition dropped dramatically. I went on like this for a few months, and then started wondering why I felt tired so much when my sleep patterns hadn't change and my stress level in taking care of my mother was the same. One day, I decided to try taking Alpha GPC and Uridine again (2 Alpha GPC and 1 Uridine daily). Within a couple of days, my energy level increased and I feel more awake. This also seemed to improve my emotional state because I feel better. Since I made no other changes, I have to assume that these supplements have helped improve my energy level.

According to the label, this has 300mg of Alpha GPC 50% per capsule. So it therefore has 150mg of Alpha GPC per capsule.All Alpha GPC capsule supplements use Alpha GPC 50%. This is because Alpha GPC is extremely hydrophilic, which means it can become less potent when exposed to humidity. Filler is added to prevent this.While the label is not technically inaccurate, it is misleading IMHO; it should say it has 150mg of Alpha GPC per capsule. It's better than other brands though... many claim 300mg per capsule when it's actually 150mg, and they don't indicate Alpha GPC 50% anywhere on the label. The key is in the price... if it's ~$20 for 60 capsules @ 300mg each, it's likely actually 150mg each. If it's ~$40 for 60 capsules at 300mg each, then it's likely each capsule has 600mg of Alpha GPC 50% for a yield of 300mg. If in doubt, try asking the manufacturer for clarification.

First, I am 66 years old and in good health. I find it difficult to write reviews for supplements. Unless a person has a clone that could serve as a control and/or unless there is a dramatic effect from taking the supplement, it is really difficult to be totally objective. I have taken many different supplements over the years. Frankly, the only supplement that I have found that has had a definite and pronounced effect on me is caffeine! I take one or two caffeine pills before I run or workout. There is little doubt of its effect particularly since I eventually crash after 3 to 4 hours. As for other supplements, I always read the background science/research before I invest my money and time. In the case of Alpha GPC Choline there is little doubt about its beneficial effects. The research is quite clear. I started taking it on and off for a few months. However, for the past couple of months, I have been consistently taking 600 mg daily. The primary reason for taking it was to hopefully improve cognitive ability or at least delay the loss of it. Plus, since I run and do resistance training, I was hopeful it would benefit me in that way as well. Results: As I mentioned above, unless there is a clone to serve as a control or the effect is so dramatic that it can not be mistaken, it is very difficult to assess the effects of any supplement. The same applies to this particular supplement by this company. Certainly my training both running and gym work has improved over the past several weeks. But, one would hope that continual training with or without supplements the person would improve. So I cannot say that my improvement is due to this particular supplement. It should be noted that it has not caused me any negative side effects, so that is a positive. The science shows that the dosage ranges from 300 to 1200mg. The research done was with people who had taken the supplement for 4 to 6 months while taking 900 to 1200 mg daily. Perhaps, if I increased the dosage to at least 900 or 1000 or even 1200 mg daily the effects would be more striking. The only reason for not doing this is cost. So this review is based on the company's recommended dosage of 600mg. Since the science is very strong for this particular supplement, I plan on increasing the dosage to 1000mg and continue it for at least 4 months. I believe after that time if there was going to be a noticeable effect, it would manifest itself.Only then can I be sure of its effects. Please note that I will receive a free bottle of this supplement for this review. I think it is easy to tell that I have expressed my honest thoughts about this product. Also, this is the only manufacturer I have purchased it from so I can't compare with others. I probably selected this company because of positive reviews and cost. Anyhow, this review is as honest as I can make it. I will write another review after my personal test of taking perhaps 1000 mg for 4 months.
