Have used this product on stiff sliding glass doors, windows, key locks, and door hinges at an ancient house built in the 1960s. For my use, this is better than conventional WD-40.When I recently moved into an apartment, I used this product to open and close the room windows and operate the locking mechanisms on them. The award-winning maintenance team was unable to get my windows operating properly (despite several requests), so I took matters into my own hands.I have even used this product on community property keylocks to unstiffen them and make them easy to open without struggling forever with the key.

I only bought this for a few things. The main things I want to use it for was closing the blinds. You know how in time the strings and the blinds get stuck or stick makes it hard to drop the blinds down. I have the wooden blinds. I had no problem raising the blinds. My problem was trying to get them back down. With a few squirts of this into the string mechanism made my blinds raise and lower smoothly. It doesn’t seem to be hurting the strings or making them corrode to where they break. I recommend this product.

I have a bunch of vinyl windows that were squealing when I put them up or down. So loud and annoying. I would wake up my wife every time no matter how slow I tried to go. They also are hard to raise and lower needing some force to do either. A few sprays on this on each side along the guides and rails and BAM no more noise and they open and close with a single finger. Amazing change. No residue after it dries and has lasted over a year through rain and snow without losing any of it effectiveness over that time. Can has a built in straw for precise applications and a general coverage spray. As the straw is attached by a hinge you will not lose it like the ones that are taped to the cans. Awesome product. A must have to have on your shelf in the garage.
