I found a video online about how to change my own cabin air filter and this was extremely simple to put in. It was just the right size, did it's job, was durable, and clean. It even seemed to make the car smell better too.

Over this past month I have tested out several charcoal cabin air filters (EPAuto, Kootek, Puroma), and none has delivered the quality of FRAM. After just a short drive with each of them, I could almost immediately smell the surrounding farmland and was assailed by the allergens that plague certain locales leaving me with that dreaded rhinitis. FRAM, however, is the best value for the money and has perfectly met my needs.The FRAM filter is about the same price as the other filters ($11) but integrates Arm and Hammer baking soda into its design and delivers the superior quality that FRAM is known for. Easy to install and a great fit for my Corolla, this filter is affordable as heck but gives me the air purification that I desire during drives through highly allergenic areas of California.This is it, guys and gals. This is by far the best aftermarket cabin air filter for my Corolla, and I highly recommend it.

I recently installed the FRAM Fresh Breeze Cabin Air Filter (CF10285) in my car, and I'm generally quite satisfied with its performance, earning it a solid 4-star rating from me. It was a direct fit replacement for the OEM filter, and the process was quick and hassle-free, saving me a trip to the dealership or a mechanic. This ease of installation is a huge plus for DIY enthusiasts.The only reason it's not a 5-star review is a minor quibble: my filter didn't have a clear airflow arrow marked on it, which required a quick check online to ensure correct orientation. While not a major issue, it would be a helpful addition for future products. Despite this small oversight, the FRAM Fresh Breeze Cabin Air Filter is a great value and a worthwhile upgrade for maintaining good air quality in your car.

Good company, good product, my only gripe, not worth deducting a point, is that the original air filter has on the side of it an arrow pointing up. So far, so good. The replacement filter has an arrow says "air flow". It's not clear if the air flow means point the filter one way, so the air HITS the filter head on, or point it the other way, so the air goes through the filter the other direction. I don't think there's a huge difference, since it flows through the filter either way. All the same, it would be nice if the original and the replacement used the same wording, which I suggest should say "This side faces up" with an arrow, rather than tell me to line it up with the direction of the air flow. When the car is off, and I'm kneeling to one side, how the heck do I know which way the air flows anyway?Again, this is something minor, so no point deduction. I usually change my cabin filter every year (I'm in a fairly dusty area, but if your inside air starts to smell funky, it may be time, however much longer or shorter it's been) and change the engine's air filter every 2 or 3 oil changes. If you're not a car person, the filter for the air in the cabin is not the same as the one for the air in the engine. They will almost always be different sizes and reference numbers, just to make it fun for you.

I noticed a smell in my car which lasted weeks. It smelled like sour rotten pineapple socks or something. Eventually it would go away while driving and circulating the air, but the next morning or afternoon when I got back in the smell would return.I googled like I always do and the first step was to change the cabin air filter. I didn’t want to pay $80 for that because that’s how much they always charge in my area. I watched a Youtube video and was shocked that I was being charged $80 because it was a “big job” having to remove the glove box.I ordered this filter and with NO skill at all, LITERALLY 3 minutes later I had my old filter out and this one installed and the glove box back in.The smell? Gone! Yay!

Easy to install on 2014 Toyota Camry. So far no issues, seems to be doing its job well.
