Excellent value and product
This phone was in like new condition. No marks, scratches or blemishes. Almost full battery life (one of the reasons I purchased this phone is because it has 4800 mAh and none of the iPhones I reviewed had anything that close). Battery life was one of my main features I wanted. Came in a white box, nicely package but it came with an iPhone charging cable instead of the USB C cable. No big deal to me because I had ordered extra cables (I put one in all my cars). I contacted the seller who responded in less than 12 hours and had already shipped me another one. I also did not have to return the iPhone cable. Also, there are at least two reviews done on this phone in 2023 on YouTube letting you know it was still a phone worth purchasing. It was very easy to have it switched from the iPhone to the Samsung. I just went into the Verizon store and they did it for me. None of my pictures transferred so make sure you save them which I did before taking it in. The only down side, which I expected. was I had to load all my apps again. But it was so much easier to create folders and add apps to the folder verses the iPhone. I loaded all my apps first. Than created my folders, than when the folder was created there was a + (plus) sign, when you clicked on it than it took you to a list of all your apps (in alphabetic order), than you just clicked on all the apps you wanted to add to that folder and they were added all at once. Unlike my iPhone which I had to drag every apps individually to the folder. I had always had an android until my last phone which was an iPhone. It was a 6s plus so it tells you I had plenty of time to learn it. Went back to an android. Main reason is because pictures are so much easier to move from folder to computer and better battery life. Half my family have Androids and half have iPhone. One reason I was hesitant about switching back is because of Air Drop but Samsung has Private Share that works the same. So it will just be like before. I can share with half my family and half I won't be able to. Plenty of YouTube videos showing how to use it. Creating folders was the hardest to find. Fresh Manuals has manuals you can down load for the phone.A side note: Took me forever to figure out how to create a folder. What you do is make sure you have two apps for that folder on the home page. Than all you do is drag one on top of the other. How to drag apps is just hold your finger on the app.

Not a good product!!
Did not arrive in excellent condition which is supposed to be like "new condition." Issues with scratches and slight color scraping on sides. Also battery charge would not last and it overheated. Wifi would very rarely go from 4G to 5G so it was slow.

Refurbished battery, too?
I love this phone so far. I needed a phone for a decent price (due to my carrier claiming they'd fix my old phone with my protection plan and thet didn't, and I don't care to give them another dime) and this one fit the bill. It really is like new, very minor scratches in unnoticeable places and the screen was in perfect condition. The only issue I have is the battery. It seems to die rather quickly. Like now for instance, I just unplugged it 5 minutes ago for the morning and it's already down to 95%. It will stay put there for a while though. Thankfully my lifestyle is relatively accommodating and I can charge it whenever and I knew this was a potential problem when purchasing a refurb, but I guess I didn't anticipate it being *this* extreme. Overall though, I do think I'll be continuing to do the refurb purchases. Heck, it's not giving the big guys any more money and it's good for the environment.

Seller did not answer technical questions
My Samsung Galaxy S21+ purchased refurbished from Chubbiestech looked almost new, and I was excited to take it to my local AT&T carrier's store to get it setup. The AT&T rep took the SIM card out of my older phone (which was still working fine) and made the transfer of the SIM card and all stored data over to this S21+. I was amazed how simple the AT&T rep made the transfer look, but when we turned on the S21+, we got a warning message that stated "SIM card missing or check SIM card tray". The phone worked fine for all tested functions, but the message continued to intermittently pop up.The AT&T rep then overrode the physical SIM card with the input of an e-SIM or virtual SIM card and removed the physical SIM card. The phone worked fine again for tested functions, but the same warning message came up. I could press “OK” on the warning message to make the warning message go away, but its intermittent return was aggravating.Given the refurbishment status of this phone, I was very concerned that this annoying warning message was just the “tip of the iceberg” regarding the overall quality and dependability of the phone. I had 5 or 6 online conversations with Chubbiestech to assess this issue. Included in a few specific questions I asked them was “have they seen this error message before?” and “how could it have been overlooked in their refurb testing?”. I also requested their technical opinion regarding the broader dependability of the phone.Unfortunately, even though they showered me with “word salad” apologies, they never provided answers to my specific questions. They suggested going through the complex and expensive procedure of returning the phone to their site, but that is not a reasonable option given one’s critical dependence on a phone. I went the extra mile and brought the phone to a local smartphone repair shop, and they suggested the false warning message popping up “might” not affect the overall utility of the phone, and it “might” only be a bad sensor. The local repair shop was careful not to issue a more definitive analysis since they would have to open the phone up which might negatively impact the return policy or warrantee.I like the phone and it appears to perform all the functions I use it for, but I feel like I am sitting on a landmine which might explode within the 90-day return timeline or worse just beyond it. And of course, returning a phone and starting from square one is an even greater frustration than putting up with an annoying false error message.
