These are just as described.I opened the package and smelled cedarwood! Fresh cedarwood. I like that they are able to habg on closet clothes lines. I even placed one on the back of my bathroom door! I think the reviews are mixed based on the scent you order. The lavender is strong and long lasting. I smelled it before I even opened the box. I have two hanging in my toddler’s closet and his nursery smells amazing. I have two in the laundry room and four in my walk in closet. I can smell them with the doors closed. They are strong for the first week and they lessen after that but are still noticeable.

The scent is amazing right out of the package—light, fresh, and pleasant. However, it doesn’t linger well, especially when placed in closets or drawers. Within a month, the fragrance had completely faded from areas like my clothing drawers, socks, towels, and undergarments. I personally prefer the ones from retail stores like Ross, DD’s Discount, or Burlington—they tend to be stronger and last much longer.
