fixed my Mom's old hot curlers with one of these.
My mother has several of those old hot curlers from the '80's that she still uses quite often.A couple of them quit heating and found the thermal fuses tripped so replaced them and tested them with a full days worth of runtime to make sure it wasn't a snap disc thermostat issue.Both units running great now at the proper temperature so Mom will be happy for sure.I do agree with the other review that they should include 20 of the butt connectors and 20 of the shrink wraps to make sure both connections to these are done with high temperature connectors.The OEM ones used in these old hot curlers certainly were as they were even nickel plated instead of plain old tin plated ones.I knocked off one star for only having 10 butt connectors and 10 shrink wraps which only takes care of one end of the fuse.

Tested and working as replacement for Gaggia Classic fuse
I used this as a replacement for the fuse in my Gaggia Classic espresso machine and the process went smoothly. The connectors are smaller than the Gaggia ones so they fit more easily into the insulating sleeve than the original assembly did.Also to be safe, I did an unscientific test, sacrificing one fuse by holding it in the flame of a gas stove for a few seconds until it started to smoke. The measured resistance before was less than 0.1 ohms; afterward it was higher than the megaohm range of my meter. So I believe this is a genuine product.
