EastPoint Sports Easy Setup Badminton Set

Got this last summer to use for house party, its relatively simple to set up - after you've done it once. Hardest part was fully understanding the instructions, 2nd set up was fast and simple. Once set up the net is solid and sturdy, I admit I had my doubts at first but it's not an expensive product. That being said, the shuttle cocks (birdies) came warped and are very low quality, and the racquets are cheaply made too. If you are looking for something for just a few uses here and there, then the birdies and racquets should be OK.If you buy separately (as we did) quality birdies and racquets this net could last you many years and is easy to throw in a car to setup at a park or friends house.

The most frustrating part of getting anything involving a net is finding a good place to stake it to the ground where it won't sway with every breeze or come tumbling down from a weak foundation. What I LOVED about this product is that there are no stakes, but only a plastic base that is extremely easy to assemble and the net stays in place no problem. I was extremely impressed with the sturdiness of this net, and I had a blast taking it camping with myself and a few friends this summer. One thing I will say is the rackets are kind of flimsy. The first time we used them, holes were forming, which caused the birdie to get caught in the spaces in the racket, however, those are cheap buys, so I feel as though this product is still warranted a 5-star review. I strongly recommend this product to fellow badminton players.

We got this to take on vacation, and our teen boys loved it, playing almost every day. It was really easy to set up and take down, and it's so light weight, it was easy to move it to flatter ground or carry to shelter when it rained. The rackets did not last long at all - our boys are hard on equipment, but the racket heads swiveled easily and/or came off or the frames broke too easily. Even if the racket frames had held up better, the string tension was too low for overheads or smashes, and that's what the boys were constantly trying to do (imitating the Olympians). The birds were just okay, your standard backyard variety - they don't have the flight capacity of a feather bird, by far, but they did fine for beginners. The net tension is pretty good, and the height is very close to regulation height. The set was easy to break down and fold up (as long as I had the instructions close by), and it takes up very little storage room. I do wish it had a carry bag, even though it's easy to carry, as a bag would keep it more securely packaged. The price is competitive for the easy-up sets, I just wish we didn't have to replace the rackets before next use.

I don't normally write bad reviews, I just return the item and move on with my life. However, if I can save one person the trouble, this "I'd give zero stars if I could" review will be worth it.Upon opening the box I realized there was not a bag to store the multitude of big poles and small pieces while not in use. I considered packing it back up and returning it at that point but I figured I had to be missing something and that this wasn't a huge design flaw.I discovered that the base of the net doubles as carrying/storage. I set out to put it together. It's a lot of sharp pokey plastic pieces that have to be shoved together. Not exactly difficult, but definitely not easy on the hands. The instructions aren't very clear and I managed to do it wrong the first time so I had to take it apart and do it again.The idea is that the two feet of the base hold the birdies, the pins, the lines, net, rackets, and poles. The net is supposed to fit between the feet. The picture shows the net straight out of the box, it hasn't been unrolled yet and it doesn't fit. How am I supposed to fit this back in after trying to roll it back up myself? It never will!The birdies are to be set precariously on the edge and the pins for the net fit inside as well. The poles and rackets get stuck into the sides but as you can see, I didn't get that far.A bag is the optimal solution for this and if I don't have one that will fit everything, I will be sending this back. Everything will get knocked out of this base while sitting in my garage between use. It's a terrible design.Don't buy it.

Nice badminton set. It is very light. You can move it around the yard very easy. Setup is pretty easy. The rackets are pretty good. In all this is an entry level badminton set, but very good for the backyard. We got this for the summer and several grad parties. I would say that this does the job well. We are happy with the set, and glad we got 4 rackets and 2 birdies.

The box was damaged upon delivery, but everything was intact. Got it all put together and it's honestly a great set. Easy set up and it's very sturdy. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because the net wasn't completely sewn together so we had to staple it. Hoping it holds. Otherwise good quality on all other parts. I did have to have my husband help put together bc I wasn't strong enough.

Great value for your buck! It was So easy to put together. It’s light so you can use it on your backyard or take it to the park. Quite sturdy considering the price. It’s not flimsy.

I received the product on November 10, 2024. Upon reviewing it on Amazon, I noted that it was the most preferred product available, influencing my decision to place an order. However, upon opening the box and inspecting the rackets, I was entirely dissatisfied with the quality. I am also uploading photographs of the rackets for reference. I have initiated the return process for this product. It perplexes me why a business would engage in practices that mislead consumers. This experience has been thoroughly disappointing. I am deliberately assigning a five-star rating to be visible to others, advising against purchasing from this seller.
