I love the watch. This is my third of this type, but the battery is nowhere near 10 years. If Casio stated a more realistic battery life I would give it five stars. Note, in page E-49 of the User's Guide it states:Initial Battery-This type battery may go dead quicker than the normal rated battery life as noted in the User's Guide. Note that you will be charged for the battery, even if replacement is required within the warranty period.I think this is a hint to not expect 10 years on a battery. To stretch out the battery life, do not to use the back light or alarm unless you readily need to use it. I have had the battery replaced locally, but the waterproofing is then shot.My other two watches were identical to this one, except they have a stainless-steel band, and the blue lettering is orange. The stainless-steel band is a big reason I like the watch. I bought this watch and removed the stainless band from a failed watch and installed the band on this watch. To do this, you will need a "removal/install watch band spring tool" and a lot of patience.

I bought this on sale for $22. Received it in two weekdays. Amazing quality for the price. I love it. I love the color scheme. Its too bad with cell phones no one needs a wrist watch any more. This is strictly for fashion. It looks great. I wish it counted steps and distance, too.

Very good quality watch. It fits my wrist at 9.5" perfectly. We'll see if the battery lasts for 20 years... but as it goes I am very satisfied with this Casio AE 2000 W

The watch is decent for its price, but the battery life is nowhere near the advertised 10 years. In fact, it barely lasted 18 months. I purchased this in May 2023, and by November 2024, the battery was completely dead. When I contacted CASIO, I was told that the warranty doesn’t cover the battery. They suggested mailing the watch to their New Jersey facility for a replacement, but the shipping cost alone is almost as much as the watch itself.We’ve used many CASIO products over the years and have generally been satisfied, but this experience has been disappointing.
