Recently I switched from the vets Presciption of Denamarin 225mg, to using these and a product called max Same, He has made a massive improvemnt, I switch as I thought I had nothing to lose, as my dog was so sick I really could not see him surviving another week, the vets precription meant 2 hours no food before and after taking the tablet which made him sick so most of the time I was finding the tablet in the garden, With these and the Max Same together, my dog has started to enjoy going out for walks again, not bad when I was thinking he was not going to survive another week, and very slowly he is starting to eat again, the diarea has totally stop ( ammazing on its own as my vet has tried everything on there shelf for the past 9 months ) Im not sure wether my dogs diarea is caused by his liver failer or his pancreatitis, but I am so very happy it has stopped and there is no more blood in it. As for sickness, we still have some odd days of sickness, but I have started feeding really small quantitys, ( he seems to eat to please me, and not becouse he wants to, as if I leave food down he wont touch it, however if I hand feed it he will eat it) So in short, with the Max Same, these milk Thistle tables, they are working miricles ! ( please note I still give pro enzorb for the pancreatitis.)

It was suggested by my vet to use Demarian as liver support but I found it a nightmare, so found these Dorwest tablets which are an absolute dream!My dog is very fussy but she’s fine having these and excellent, positive news from her last blood!These are over half the price too!100% recommend!

Our cat reacts very strongly to the taste of milk thistle, he absolutely hates it and physically jerks away in exposure to the taste of any type of milk thistle, almost as if in pain. His mouth will also be watering for a long time to get rid of the taste.We got these since other reviews mentioned the cats didn't mind it, but they are condensed milk thistle without an effective coating, so if your cat hates the taste as much as ours then you will need to get empty size 00 capsules (possibly size 0 can work too) to put these in. It's interesting since milk thistle has no taste to me at all, but even the smallest amount of the powder will get a strong reaction from him

I bought these milk thistle tablets for my dog following the diagnosis that she has abnormal liver cells resulting in a liver growth and therefore I wanted to give her something that would provide her liver with some extra support. Since adding these tablets to her diet and giving her a low dose of veterinary prescribed steroids, I have noticed a change in her energy levels and frequency that she is experiencing her painful stomach upsets. Before taking these she would have frequent sore stomachs and now they only occur every few weeks. Whether this is a combination of the Milk Thistle tablets and Steriods, I’m not sure but I have noticed a difference and will continue to order these for her. Highly recommend as a very reasonable price for a great product. Thank you!

My dog has completely stopped moulting after 2 weeks of using these. You could not stroke her without being covered in hairs. Honestly we will by using this in her food going forward.

I bought these for my little old Scottie dog she ha d blood tests and they found she had high liver enzymes so liver was not great….she is 13 years old. The vet recommended some tablets that would have cost £70 .00 per month. When I looked at the ingredients in the tabs the main ingredient was milk thistle(which is good for liver). So looked on Amazon for Dorwest Herbs cos know they are a good make and I found that they did milk thistle tablets for a much cheaper price so I thought I’d try them for my dog. She hasn’t yet had another blood test so I don’t know if there is an improvement in her liver enzymes but she has been taking them for 3 weeks now and she seems a bit more lively and not so sleepy so I’m keeping fingers crossed. She has to have another blood test in two months so I will let you know results. Hope these tablets help .

This is the first time I have ever reviewed anything on Amazon but I am so impressed with this product that I just had to. My beloved 10 year old cocker spaniel was recently diagnosed with a large inoperable mass on his liver and I was told he wouldn't have long to live. Since starting him on these tablets (I give him 3 a day along with Essiac supplements) I have already noticed a distinct improvement in his overall health and having read the previous reviews I am hopeful they will help to keep him healthy for a while longer. Very glad I came across this product. Great value for money and speedy delivery.
