Napier Super Power Pull Through 177 & 22 Cleaning Kit

This is a good piece of kit that all air rifle owners should have, especially if buying new rifles. Usually a barrel is full of oils for transportation that are best cleaned out before first use. Periodic barrel cleaning is also a good idea

Acquired to clean .22 barrel and is easy to use. Handy having a pouch to store it too. Recommended.

A four star rating on a five star item. So why has the fifth star been removed? Couple of things really, with the main one being price. A pull through, a wad of patches and a bottle of cleaning oil, with cleaning patches all held in a flimsy zipped plastic case doesn't really warrant the price.This is the second of these kits I have purchased in the last three years, the first kit is still pretty much intact, however, the loop at the end of the pull through snapped and unlike all of the other elements of this kit, it can't be purchased individually. I therefore had no alternative other than to purchase a full kit. I purchased from this supplier based upon the fact that the illustration on the sales site suggested that my kit would contain the improved oil dispenser, but what arrived was the old oil dispenser which is difficult to get the oil into the barrel.In use the product is really good although you do get through the patches pretty quickly if like me you have a number of guns to clean. The oil is very good at protecting metal as well as being a good cleaning agent. I tend to clean my guns towards the end of the year for storage through until spring keeping one or two out for work in the winter so this product is ideal for protecting them in the gun safe.Overall a really good product, a bit fiddly to use on PCP for which you may require a blunt item such as a tooth pick to catch the filament loop at the end of the pull through and open it out to accept the patches. Shame that you can't buy the pull through separately.

Very very disappointed!! It was brought as a Christmas present, but I've only just got round to using it due to the crap weather ( time of year) I followed the instructions, and the loop snapped whilst only half way down the barrel!I thought buying this item at £40 I was buying a decent kit, but clearly not.I know I wasn't using excessive force, there has to be some resistance to clean it properly.I'm waiting for a response off the seller, because amazon are not interested!!!

Overpriced for what you get really but save getting the individual items and making your own pull through. I like the patches and the vapor patches but only of those included which seem a bit mean. Purchased replacement pull through patches separately but they were different colour to the green ones included in the kit and just ripped in half so probably fakes I guess. Overall a useful kit and cleaner works well enough. Would make a useful airguner's gift.

A must have for airgunners

I bought this kit and tried to clean my rifle as instructed. I also watched some YouTube videos.. most of these videos stated that you should use a drinking straw to overcome the top of the barrel when pushing through the pull through. I tried to clean my barrel and sure enough I couldn’t get the end down the barrel. It is very disappointing that you buy a kit like this and they do not supply a tray type piece to go in the end. Trying to get hold of the correct size plastic drinking straws is extremely difficult. And for Napier to supply a straw would cost them less than 1p. So I have this kit but still can’t use it to clean my barrel.

Really good piece of kit, clean my gun every few months and it works really well
