Handy tool
This is a really useful tool for plant and lawn feed. Makes the job far easier and quicker than the watering can method. Mother-in-law has now bought one for her garden.

IMPORTANT ADVICE
What they don't say on the instructions is that the fluid bottle NEVER EMPTIES!The first time I used it I thought it wasn't working properly, so turned it upside down to encourage the bottle to empty (the instructions say to use upright). But apparently (according to another reviewer) the bottle is supposed to stay full but SLOWLY GETS MORE DILUTE as you use it. So when it's gone from blue to clear it's time to chuck another bag of powder in.Apart from that, it seems to work fine!UPDATE - SOLUTIONI slightly enlarged the smaller of the two holes that is supposed to divert some of the water through the solution, and it now seems to work correctly.Maybe happened because our mains water pressure is a bit too low?

Inferior to the original version
I still have the original style feeder bought 30+ years ago and manufactured by ICI. Nothing wrong with it, but I thought I might try the newer version guessing it would be an upgrade. How wrong was I. This new version is opaque and apart from a narrow window it is impossible to see the water level. With the old version the water level went down, but not the case with this one, so it’s almost impossible to tell when or if the food has been used up. The advert clearly states this comes with plant food, but it doesn’t. I ordered it twice to see if one contained food, but neither did. I was aware other people had the same problem. Definitely a case of mis-selling in my world. As this item is vastly overpriced and as a matter of principle I tried to get in touch with the seller via their website. As someone else has said, this site only allows you to use it if you are based in USA or Canada. I then tried to get I touch with Amazon customer services but that wasn’t easy. Eventually I managed to find the link for instant messaging. I was offered the option of a refund if I returned the spray, but I could have arranged that myself without all the hassle I had gone through. I refused that offer and insisted I wanted to keep the spray but wanted the food sent to me. Eventually I was offered 20% off which I accepted because I already had my own miracle gro food. Would I recommend this item, probably not.

Absolute junk.
Absolute junk.I had one of these 20 years ago and it lasted 15 years. It was quality.I’ve had this one 15 minutes and the plastic is so cheap and flimsy that the hopper keeps falling off of the bottom and wasting all of the feed.Such a shame when a decent product is replicated years later using poor quality materials.Waste of money. Avoid.

Good piece of equipment but needs good water pressure to work fully.
Arrived on time and in good condition. Nice piece of kit but not working well for me due, I think, to poor water pressure where I live. An excellent bit of equipment I would think but check you have really good water pressure first.
