Marshall has always sold professional quality, reliable products. The Action lll is a fine example. May cost a few dollars more than the competition but well worth the investment. Very low noise. Wide frequency response. Produces low disrortion full sound and plenty of it. Setup (BT connection) is simple and reliable. Does not make loud annoying noises when connecting or disconnecting. I previously purchased a much larger Marshall Standmore ll speaker which I've enjoyed for many years. The Action lll makes an attractive addition to your office or poolside. I highly recommend this product.

If you are looking for a high quality bluetooth speaker that uses a power cord, just stop thinking about it, do yourself a favor and buy this! I am a bit of an audiophile and I am frequently disappointed by the output from small speakers, particularly the bass. However, I could barely believe my ears the first time I heard this thing. Amazingly rich sound, fantastic volume and bass in such a compact package. You can hear it thumping around the house if you want to. The styling is retro cool, looks great on your shelf. The toggle switch to turn on/off is iconic, and the knobs not only have good sensitivity, but have a light-up display around them that tell you where you are. I also have a musical keyboard plugged into the auxiliary jack and can quickly switch between bluetooth and that with the press of a button. Super happy with this speaker!

Best speaker for home,office,church,small event! The sound quality is amazing. Style perfect. Size on point. I love how it can always connect if you leave it on! Just open your Bluetooth and select the speaker- instant connect from your phone. Highly recommend!

Simply AMAZING sound for the size and price when used in an average sized bedroom / home-office (say 10' x 12') . (Or in my case a bedroom converted to a small home gym.) Used in a large open space the sound still has life, but the bass isn't there. Used in a small room it really comes alive. Almost seems as though it was designed for it, and tested with Spotify's "Feel Good Beats". Sure, it doesn't have subbass, but what it has is just nuts. Midrange solid. Very good clarity throughout the full frequency range. It is not audiophile, but it is excellent.Note: I tried Stanmore iii but returned it. Avoid that one. It makes music "lifeless". Massive hole / loss in midrange of Stanmore. Not so for the Acton.Acton is just an excellent speaker, and it looks great. If you plan to use in a smallish room, get it. You won't be disappointed!

Truly an outstanding speaker. This little giant delivers incredible sound, crisp, clear vocals and rich bass. I had it up and running with a MAC in less than 3 minutes out of the box, no need for their app. Excellent bluetooth connectivity, strong, consistent connection. I've been musing for years what compact speaker system to buy for years, very glad I chose his one.

Everything about this speakers checks my boxs. It has an old school look to it. I love the knows and power switch. It sounds great even at low levels. And it's easy to connect to and manage

I love this speaker. It sounds great, mostly, and I love the way it looks. My only issue is that it doesn’t seem to play both channels on a stereo recording. I wouldn’t have noticed it except for that I listened to a song that goes really quiet for a minute or so with only a feint drum beat and some vocals. My speaker was practically silent.But overall I think most people who aren’t audiophiles would love it. And audiophiles don’t usually buy inexpensive speakers. This one is worth every penny and I think if I could afford to be one, I would be an audiophile. Sound is very important to me
