Due to some important conversations I had to attend recently, I needed something to record them in order to be able to listen to them again, to ensure I hadn’t missed anything. I could’ve taken my phone out, started recording and put it on the table, but that wouldn’t have been appreciated. So being able to have a little flat black box just attached to a key chain was handy, as nobody noticed it being there, or would have suspected it was able to record.Saying that, this would be useful for anything voice-based, for example classes or lectures that you would like to record to double check your notes etc. It’s got 128GB of internal memory to allow for over 1500 hours worth of recording!! And I suppose you could also use it as an USB storage device. The microphone is super, it picks up voices from quite a distance away, so ideal for a classroom.It came in a nice little cardboard presentation box, much better than the usual plastic packaging. In the box there’s the device itself (tiny!), a manual (there’s also a PDF copy on the device itself, can see it when you connect it to a computer), a decent set of earphones, USB cable to connect to a computer, an adapter to connect the earphones to the device, and a classy looking key chain. The battery was fully charged when I got it, and I haven’t had a need to recharge so far, so it looks like a decent battery life.When you connect the device to a computer with the USB cable, you then have access to the raw WAV files on the device, so you can copy them somewhere else or listen to them on the computer. As the files are in WAV format, you should have no problems using other apps to listen or tinker with.Bottom line: great little voice recorder!

Working perfectly and nice. Pick up sound and very clear

To be fair the sound quality is v good on this device but what I have an issue with is that the play button does not work and so you can only listen back to things once you have downloaded it onto a pc and that is such a hassle because it only records in WAV files even though it says MP3 (which it doesnt save in) and so when you try and play on Itunes for example Itunes doesnt recognise WAV files meaning you then have to convert the file from WAV to MP3. Other reviews have mentioned these faults also and the fact that "no file" comes up so its impossible to play anything. Its such a hassle and recently I recorded something v important that was 1 hour 15 mins long and I cannot convert it at all because the file is too big and because I cant play it on the device itself then I have effectively lost the recording. The fact that there are 181 questions which comprise 19 pages on amazon is testimony to how ineffective this device is. I wouldnt waste your money. I have binned it and bought another one using a different brand.

I purchased this to record some meetings I was having lately. I wanted something that was discreet and easy to use.This is a very slim and small voice recorder that has some great features. I have used it mainly in the always recording mode which is very easy to use as you just simply turn it on and it starts recording. You can even check the recording directly from the device using the supplied headphones and micro usb to aux adapter. The recording quality is absolutely excellent and everything is very clear. You can also connect this device to a PC and download the recordings if you need to keep them for future use.The battery life is excellent and so far I have recorded 4 2 hour meetings and I still haven’t had to charge it.I am absolutely delighted with this device and for the following reasons I have decided to rate it 5 stars:Easy to useExcellent sound qualityGood quality headphonesExcellent battery lifeVery slim and compact size

I have professional audio recorders (SONY/YAMAHA), but they are relatively big and obvious. I wanted something very discrete to record sometimes. The output of this device is surprisingly good (Obviously not to SONY standards and in mono) though the microphone struggles with loud sound without distorting I've been quite surprised by how useable the sound can be with a little work post.

I bought this product because it has voice activation. I have followed the poorly written instructions and tried many times unsuccessfully to get the voice activation to work. It says it will flash to confirm it is on but does nothing when I press and hold the - button has indicated in the instructions. Obviously no back up no one to email call so that’s £25 wasted on another useless device

It's a brilliant recorder, very small and compact. As you can see from the pictures, it is smaller than a credit and just a little thinker than a £1 coin.The sound quality of the recordings comes out crystal clear. If you want something small, light and of high quality - this is the product for you.
