pro elec pl09473 10A 2 PIN 0128-OR Connector Rubber - Orange

I purchased this after accidentally cutting through the cable whilst mowing the lawn. It's decent quality, easy to fit (I did find it easier to do this with the white cable clamps completely removed until the wires were screwed into place) it fits together nicely, I didn't find the connection loose at all but it did pull apart fairly easily when the cable was pulled too far. Easily solved by taping over the joint with electrical tape. Saved me having to buy a replacement mower so I'm very happy.

Inadvertently cut the cable on my hedge trimmer :-( so bought this as it had an average of good reviews. It was delivered a day earlier than stated.This is an easy connector to wire up and instead of being marked Live & Neutral it is marked BR & BL, so it should not cause confusion for even someone not used to wiring things up.As it is a cheap product I did find the top and bottom of the inner part where you screw the wires into place comes apart (not a problem as it clips back in place but can make it a bit fiddly when securing the wires). The two outer pieces do connect together okay but perhaps not as snuggly as you might like so I have put a little tape around the join just so it will not come apart as some buyers have said theirs did/does.At the end of the day you get what you pay for, this product is less than £4 and does the job. Not all things are easy to open and replace a new cable so this connector takes a damaged garden tool from useless to working.

Bought for a mower rebuild and these connectors worked fine. The only quirk is they can be reverse connected so polarity can be swapped. Not an issue on AC current but bear in mind for 12vdc electrical connections

A cheap way of fixing your lawn mower

Does the job but as other reviewers have said - watch the polarity. These can be connected either way round which I think is dangerous. Many connectors like this are offset which makes it impossible to connect live to neutral. These are not. I suggest marking your plugs to make sure you connect them correctly each time!

Good piece of kit does what it says on the label

Like most purchasers, I suspect, I bought this to repair my hedge trimmer having cut through the wire (puff of smoke, no electrocution). It was straightforward to fit (need a wire stripper & screwdriver). Joins the wire back together but pulls apart too easily. You will need to tape it together to avoid constant interruptions.

Having cut the lead on my hedge trimmer this connector was an easy repair at a very cheap price. 10/10 for quality.
