Awesome for my 808
Throws Mike a boss. Very cool and long handle to use for setting up in a pole.

Great rod
Very nice rod for the money. I have caught several fish over 8 pounds with it. You can't beat it for the price. I have 3 of these rods, all different actions. Buy one. You won't regret it.

Daiwa Crossfire Two Piece Casting Rod
I have not used a two piece fishing rod in many years. I was not expecting much when I got it because of the price and it being a two piece rod. It's a bit more sensitive than I expected, and casts pretty good. The tip is what I'd call extra fast. I believe that with a good reel on it this rod will be good for crankbaits in the three-eigths to five-eigths ounce.

Good little pole.
Fits easily in my small car. Stiff action which gave me good casting distance. Withstood a 'Bend" test so I'm not worried about it breaking when "fish on". Great for the person who wants a short pole, easy storage, easy carry in a small car and sturdy little hummer to boot.

Great little rod!
Having a shorter rod really helps when fishing from a smaller kayak. Even at a bit under 4', I believe is what I measured, I landed a 30" Northern Pike with no issues.

Comfy little rod!
The 2 piece design is great for transport both in car and walking through woods to get to my spot. Easy set up and top quality for the price for sure. Gotta get one if u can, you won't be disappointed

My son’s #1 pole
My son picked this out and raves about how great it is! He has a handful of fishing poles and uses this most of the time.

Update: line guide insert just fell out... customer service won’t send me a upper rod piece without me sending in the old one which will cost probably the same amount as the rod in shipping.Original review (4/5 star):Works great with 1/2-3/4oz lures. I’m sure you can do, and it is rated for, lighter and heavier lures just as well but that’s all I’ve used it for so far. Hook keeper kinda sucks so lost a star for that. For some reason it’s a reverse Texas rig keeper so the loop is in the wrong direction so you can’t hook a Texas rig to it without unhooking the plastic from the hook. In the photo you can see the keeper on the crossfire next to a keeper I made myself on a cheap shimano spinning rod that I bought without a hook keeper (put my keeper in the right direction towards the grip end). Kinda hard finding two piece rods nowadays and wanted something with a split grip and couldn’t find one with the right length/action, but after using this I’m happy even without a split grip, super ergonomic with the exact lure rating I was looking for (1/4-1oz). Rod also seems to be good luck, been using it for Less than a month and caught my first corvina, first bonefish, first needle fish, and probably my personal best spotted bay bass with it. I have fished the bay a LOT over the past couple years so pretty strange that this rod has caught so many firsts over a few weeks, but probably attribute that to the fact that I’ve been 3/4oz drop shotting more with this rod because it can handle the weight better than my last rod which I would usually do a swimbait with 3/8oz jighead. Was worried that the longer stiffer rod would affect sensitivity(that’s what she said) but can still feel what’s goin on just as well and can still tell if I’m running over grass, a rock, or got a bite, generally just as well as my 6’6” medium action rod. Oh and fits great between the back headrests and glass in my Tacoma which is why I buy 2 piece rods. Never know when you’re gonna be driving by a lake/river/bay and got some time to kill, so always good to have your rod and tackle with ya.
