Of all ginger spices I’ve tried this is my absolute fave. The quality, aroma and flavor it gives food is great. Sadly this size isn’t available in retail stores and I love the size.

I ran out of ground ginger at a critical moment when making a birthday present. This is something I NEVER run out of, because I use so much of it. So I hit Amaszon, found this mahoosive jar - much cheaper than buying small jar in the supermarket. It got to me the next day, enabling me to finish my baking in time. Result!Schwartz is expensive compared, say, to supermarket own-brands, but they ARE good herbs and spices ... and a lot cheaper to buy in this size (provided you use a lot of whatever it is, of course).
