Very bright: beam could be narrower focused
Excellent spotlight, much brighter on full than any torch I have previously owned. Beam could be narrower focused - it has a very bright, fairly wide centre however. Impressed with red colour filter option, battery life good (second light setting, roughly equivalent to my old Clulite brightest setting) lasts at least 5 hours vs 2 for my old Clulite. It’s not heavy and easy to use while scanning with binoculars looking for eye shine. Higher light settings only needed for long distances (I can easily spot deer 500 m away) so probably I won’t use much for birding, but extremely useful to have in case needed on occasion
