I bought the 89 × 43 cm Nordik desk mat for my open‑plan office, and it’s one of those simple upgrades that makes the whole workspace feel curated rather than cobbled together.What I likeFits everything without feeling cramped. At 89 cm wide it swallows a full‑size keyboard, mouse and notebook, leaving a clean buffer either side so nothing teeters off the edge when I type.Premium feel straight out of the box. The mat arrived rolled inside tissue and a sturdy tube—zero creases. The marled felt is dense and smooth, more like a high‑end wool blend than the thin craft‑felt some mats use.Quiet and protective. Keystrokes and coffee mugs land with a soft thud instead of a clack, and the underside’s anti‑skid dots keep it pinned even when I yank the mouse across.Naturally minimalist aesthetic. The muted grey hides dust and crumbs between cleaning sessions and blends with both wood‑grain and white desks.Not waterproof. It shrugs off the odd splash, but a full mug spill will soak in—best to keep coasters handy.VerdictIf you want a one‑piece surface that organises your kit, dampens noise and looks intentionally stylish, the Nordik mat nails it. Replaced an old leather mat and opted for the felt one instead. It seems good value for money and a good size. The mat itself has a nice feeling and is nice when resting against. Quality seems good and was nice and flat after a few hours. Not as stain proof as leather but still easy enough to clean.

Been using for around 6 months now. Good feel. Hasn’t degraded. Good colour for minimalist, clean desk space.

May is great, bought a second one for my wife desk. Over time it does great plush but it is expected with this wool like material

Done a lot of research on desk mats, a tad OCD! and hoped for this being everything I'd want from what appeared to be a good brand, but it wasnt to be. I personally found the finish of the material itchy/scratchy on my wrists. The edging was nicely done, but the material just wasnt comfortable. The underneath though was good, kept it stable on the desk no slipping. Presentation 10/10 with the cardboard tube and branding.

This large felt mat feels like pretty good quality and looks very good on my desk. Big and spacious for any keyboard/mouse combo plus any coasters etc. It was not cheap but the quality is good. I bought the charcoal coloured one and it does look very nice.
