When I bought this I really didn't expect it to be very good as I have bought so many different ones to help my son as he suffers so much with the heat. He has sensory issues due to autism and this makes things so much harder for him to deal with the heat. But I must say this has just blown us away ( pardon the pun) it is so powerful , even on number one you get such a lovely breeze coming to you and it's not warm air , like with a lot of the other products you buy. I'm thinking of changing the one in my room now to one of these although mine will be a little smaller. If you want something with a nice breeze this is a definite. I would recommend this

A good value fan and quite powerful. However, it does give off a loud enough "white noise" - if you are sensitive to this then perhaps not for you. For my purposes, this is not an issue and as such suits me perfectly. I could not justify the excessive price of the likes of a Dyson when this fan is a fraction of the cost. This type of fan would be perfect for the likes of a gym or a place where there is other background noise.

wouldn't be without these fans when its hot . They are powerfull and blast you with cooler air that will lower the temp of your whole room .I've got two of these and find them very effective at cooling things down indoors to a more comfortable temp . They are quite loud when on full blast i have to say BUT personally i can deal with that far more than being too hot and uncomfortable. If you get too hot indoors in the summer i recommend one of these bigger fans ,it's well worth it! .They do make a difference and work better than the smaller size fans or pedastal fans to keep things a little cooler indoors

Bought to move air around the top floor in the summer and does a great job adding circulation around a stuffy upstairs floor. It is extremely loud and vibrates the floor so not ideal to have on when sleeping. Saying that, it's worth the price, the size is excellent and the power is immense. Exactly what you need to cool down.

This is the best fan I've ever had. I was drawn to it because it had 5-star reviews and was on offer at a good discount. It looks sleek and modern, and requires no self-assembly. I just took it out of the box and plugged it in. I keep it in the corner of my living room and it certainly belts out the cold air. What I normally don't like about fans is that sometimes you have to put them right next to you and the cold air is too intense. However, this one is quite strong and even from the corner of the room it makes the room lovely and cool, and I don't have to stay in one place to get cool air on me. Controls are easy and obvious for anyone to use. I'm very impressed with this, and although it was meant first and foremost as a gym fan it still doesn't look out of place in the home. I love it.

I have had one of these fans for over two years. It's got a good airflow. We have it in the bedroom. On the floor and angled upwards, it sends air up and over us rather than directly at us when in bed. It's not the quietest fan, but the noise is a steady level so it's not annoying. We both go to sleep with it on.It has three speeds but except on the warmest nights we have it on the lowest speed. I don't think we've ever run at at the highest one.Of course it doesn't cool the air like air conditioning would but it does move the air about and helps keep us cooler in the night. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this model.
