Why did you pick this product vs others?:I first purchased these these collagen capsules for my mother through another retailer, but Amazon's price is better, so future orders will be through Amazon. My mother had been taking a more expensive chewable collagen supplement for years, but as she doesn't have any noticeable wrinkles or crows feet and has always had healthy, fast-growing hair and nails, she was taking the chewables more as a deterrent and couldn't really say if she was experiencing any benefits, as she's also never had any joint issues, either. When her favorite chewables were discontinued, she asked if I would research other brands for her, and I found the Forest Leaf capsules. She's been taking them with as little expectation of any noticeable change as she did with her previous brand. So she was very surprised when, halfway into her second bottle of 120 capsules (she takes 3 a day instead of the recommended 2 capsules), I noticed that her neck and jawline -- which were just starting to lose some firmness -- appeared more taut. When I asked her if she'd lost weight or was doing something different, she said no, and just thought she was going through a "good phase." But it's now a couple of weeks later, and her jawline and neck still appear firmer. It's subtle, so not like she's had a facelift or laser tightening, but whatever the cause for the improvement, my sister and I definitely noticed it.The women in our family tend to be natural skeptics, so my mother is reluctant to credit these collagen capsules with the change in her face and neck, but says she'll continue to order them, as they have other benefits, and they're certainly better for dental health than chewables. I'm completely satisfied with Forest Leaf collagen and highly recommend it. I've found 2 capsules daily to be sufficient as an aid to digestion, but your health goals may be different.I've been using this product for approximately 18 months and haven't experienced any negative side effects.

As far as I can tell, these seem to be making my nails stronger. I'm not sure about my hair and skin, but for my age, I think I look pretty good in the skin department. Also, they arrived when expected. I don't have a problem with the size, but other people might have trouble swallowing them, because they are quite large.

I always get this same brand. No fish collagen, just bovine and chicken. I don't want to taste fish. Collagen helps my joints feel less creaky, and helps regulate my sleep. It is a very valuable supplement for people who mostly eat easy modern meals with a lot of lean protein and no bones/skin/connective tissues involved. It's better for overall health to get these amino acids and not just lean meat. Take a gram with every high protein meal.

Made me sick and face broke out within a couple days. Cannot return. Completely disappointed and dissatisfied because even if the seller cannot support this item, I would suggest Amazon back it. See other reviews about illness and breakouts. Choose another brand, one that is backed by a quality guarantee.

These appear to be "the real thing', after adding these to both my & my wife's supplements, NO MORE POPING, CRACKING, achy necks, etc. We do also take a Glucosamine-Chondroitin cap as well, but THIS pushed the effects way up and are very noticible. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
