PLAUD has turned my life around and made me such a happy happy person. I’d never heard of it… or of AI helping anyone like this in August’24 when I needed to buy a voice recorder just to help me transcribe later. As a doctor, working in a quarternary hospital where so many meetings occur, a lot of which are MDT meetings… this device is a life saver… it not only just records a 1 hr meeting or a 7 hr study day in one go… it then not only transcribes !! …. It gives you the best Nuanced summary you can ever get .. in the most professional way… and way better than I would summarise despite 20 yrs experience. But as it shows off… it does it in seconds!!! Haha. Like my guardian angel… and now I can focus on real medicine and learning and the depth of the meetings around me. Amazing Value for money even with the pro version. Very versatile … very compact… seamlessly blends with my phone .. and great voice recording quality and transcribing … whether English, Arabic, Hindi… or Urdu at lightening speed and great battery life. Best £150 that I ever spent :)And nope.. not being paid for this review… I’m just a happy man who keeps recommending this to literally every person I meet. LOL.

Great product - AMAZING customer service. After a few months my device developed a fault… I contacted their customer service and they were responsive, really clear and dealt with the problem incredibly professionally. They went through a few checks, made a couple of requests, but then quickly determined that a new device was the best way forward which got sent out and I received within 2 days! Fantastic. Special thanks to Christy. Love the product even more now! Highly recommend to anyone.

Surprisingly good. Microphones are excellent. Call recording work very well. Mag holder (included) is a nice touch. Only gripe is the cost of transcribing. 300 mins included in ‘free’ subscription but I’ve found the transcription to be excellent and the ability to buy more minutes is a nice touch.But where this loses a star is in the Ai integration. The Ai summaries are poor for long meetings, you need to be very careful. My solution is to copy the transcription into another Ai LLM and use it to generate better summary.The mind-mapping is a gimmick.Suggestion to Plaud is to focus on the parts of the product that work really well.

It’s sleek, exceptionally light .i love it . I can easily record calls .

First unit I was sent failed to hold a charge after a few weeks use, I contacted support and after the usual checks to determine I was using the device correctly and not a complete idiot a replacement was dispatched quickly. No issues at all with new unit and customer support were responsive and helpful.

The devise is amazing and I cannot fault it however the subscription is a joke. I thought it was bad when I first bought it however just now they have decided to raise the subscription price from £8 for a whopping 900 extra minutes, now after the 8th of May this will cost you £18 a month for 1200 minutes. They are shooting themselves in the foot as I have just found a competitor who has a very similar product and no subscription. I would advise anybody who is considering to go with this company to think again and not support such greed. Companies are squeezing far to much from the people nowadays and it’s time to vote with you feet.I am returning mine now and going with the competition.

The invention iv voice recorder such was the has been usurped by the phone technology who cleverly understood the meaning of voice recorder ? How did they come up with that !!! I must admit my hell if all calls are recorder was if only if they turned the external voice recorder to internal and connect phone to it it might be as useful as this item now alas to be shelved

I use this for meetings and lectures......it makes the use of 'whisper' very easy and painless. In fact, I am so impressed with the ease of use that I have recommended it to others who are not that computer savvy.The way it can take a 5 hour lecture and summarise it so easily is amazing.........you can also search the whole lecture via a keyword for certain information...whilst you 'may' be able to do this for free (it is not easy to find out how to do this), I would absolutely recommend buying this for the ease of use. If you understand the power of chatgpt, then you will understand the power of this and its ease of use.
