These work great! I work on an ice hockey conversion team and do a lot of walking and working on the ice. I lift 4x8 sheets to cover the ice for events. Very stable on the ice and easy to put on and stay in place. They are sized correctly. I've used them about 10 times and had no problem with use. The only problem was they shipped me two left feet in the box, but it doesn't matter because the rubber is flexible. I found that out after the return days ran out but like I said they work great. I'm getting another pair for my wife for the ice conditions outside during winter.

Strong wire supports and excellent traction beads. They will damage wooden and ceramic tile floors indoors. Easily handled by porcelain tile however. These are our go-to traction aids for daily use in the winter.

These are the best for icy conditions!! I used to be a runner, even in snow and ice, I could run with confidence! Now I use them for walking my dogs in the winter. This is my second pair, first ones lasted 6 years. Great quality, easy to pull on over your shoes, no slipping , no falling!

just had bicep repair in a sling for 6-8 weeks so i needed some stability for winter walks. tried these diamond gripper ice cleats and i am using on a a slip-on snow boot(low cut ) for ease of putting on foot with one arm. i ordered x large for size 11 shoe, they were pretty tight to get on but fit snug on shoe and have not slipped off, ( so i technically up-sized according to the size chart lg was recommended) they are low profile walking on hard surface, they grip good on 1" of recent snow on driveway etc., gripped on a slippery and very warped wooden board walk on the trail, on pure ice they grip but slip a bit compared to my other mini carbon studs or ice spike sets, but still good enough. they seem to be durable (but time will tell), in theory i like the design its different than all others i have bought, but one CON so far is the snow collection & build up. especially on heel, i have had this issue with some snow shoes but never ice grippers. 3 hikes in this week and minimal1" snow walking i started to wobble and ankles were twisting, felt like i had high heels on, thought maybe snow condition fluffy light snow but mid 20's temp made them collect snow?? but next 2 days same thing constantly every 5-6 steps collecting and build up of snow and making it unstable as i walk , i have to drag the foot sole on ground to remove snow constantly all 3 days got to be annoying maybe future snowfalls and conditions might be more favorable , i will update . the heel ring portion has some play where it moves a bit so i would think it would dislodge the snow, but doesnt seem to, after 1st hike i do spray wd 40 pre/post walk to reduce any rusting maybe help snow build up ( no difference) and i can walk on drives ways and slippery surfaces with confidence, but on trails with snow ,the snow build up is a pain to deal with, i do really like this style and the way they stay on shoe, and will keep them, but might use my other styles when in snowy conditions hiking with my dog due to the constant build up of snow unless the issue resolves with different conditions.i see they have same style diamond gripper ,but with the diamond grip on fore foot and no heel grippers which i will consider, but the reviews on those say those come off foot a lot, looks like rubber is a different style when putting on shoe. might eleviate the snow build on heel up but might be falling off shoe??? ehhhover all i like them early on ( with durability yet to be seen and the snow build up issue)

These are my go-to for winter traction.The good: Yaktrax Diamon Grip are super portable, so keeping a pair in the car doesn't take up appreciable space. The grip beads do a really good job; I've walked down my steep driveway while it was completely covered in ice with no issues. They are also light weight and don't feel any different than walking on a gravel surface. The stretchy rubber keeps them attached very securely to my boots.The bad: They mention using aircraft cable in the design. I suppose that's supposed to make them sound high-tech or something. Aircraft cable, as anyone who ever owned or maintained an airplane could tell you, rusts. That works fine in aircraft as the cable is regularly greased to, among other things, keep it from rusting, but it doesn't really work for footwear. If the cable lasts more than a season, you're doing well. Further, that cable is attached to a rubber harness. It's a race to see if the cable or the rubber will fail first. Plan on your new Yaktrax Diamond Grip to last for only one winter and you won't be disappointed.The new: I've been purchasing Yaktrax Diamond Grip for years. I always purchase the medium size which was a tight fit on size 9 boots, but was acceptable. This year I purchased medium again. I was happy to see that they finally did away with the left vs. right foot in favor of a universal design, but I was surprised to see that the product was considerably smaller than my last purchase. The box still says "medium" and the chart says medium fits sizes 6.5 to 9, just like before, but it's much too small for size 9s. Maybe drop their size table down one size for the new product?

I walk my dogs 3-4 miles most days in Spring, Summer and Fall. I live on a trail and in winter it's hard to know what the trail will be like all the way. I would always run into ice at some point and have to avoid this or be super careful. I have now worn these twice. One when very snowy with ice underneath and today, with patches of melting snow and ice and slush underneath. I have never slipped at all while wearing and have been able to walk a normal pace with these on with confidence. I can also walk across streets without damaging them, which was important. Some would bend. My only problem was putting them on my boots. I ordered a Medium and I wear an 8.5 and they were very hard to put on. BUT, once on were perfect and I couldn't knock off a star for that when they function perfectly.
