Works better than the standard snaptrap.
I've tried lots of mouse traps, and many don't measure up to the good old fashioned snap trap. However, these do. I put peanut butter in the bait cup, and each trap I've set has resulted in multiple kills. The trap has never been found closed and empty, and there was (unfortunately) only one leg trap out of 20 traps which makes me feel better. I do want the vermin gone, but I don't want them to suffer. These are very easy to set and much safer than the old "put the rod under the lip of the trigger" type. They are also way easier to empty - it's just like opening a clothespin. They are reusable, and in the case of a messy capture, they are plastic so can be washed off and reused. These are my new favorite traps outside of the no-kill variety.

Best option for setting lots of traps easily and consistently. Tip for use in description.
I'm very impressed with this trap. So far, no partial/injury kills and no stolen bait. The build quality is good and consistent.TIP: Add a small cardboard box or other object around the front of the trap to prevent 'sideways' entries and possible failed catches. The box is made to fit exactly around the front of the trap and has a small hole so that the mouse can only get to the bait from one angle. Load peanut butter only at the front inside edge of the bait cup to force the mouse to enter more fully when stepping on the release plate. Filling the cup allows them to reach and possibly not step on the plate at all. These could not be easier to work with, and they operate very smoothly. I'm definitely ordering another box for more areas.

Really good traps,great price.
I used peanut butter and maybe caught one. We had quite a few mice. I noticed they weren't taking the bait after that first one got caught. So then I decided to add a bit of bologna. That did the trick. I caught 4 more with 5 days. I also bought those bags of mint mouse deterrent. Smells a bit like Bengay but hopefully together I won't have to get a professional in here. I did get the air vents fixed under the edge of the attic where the mice initially got in. And I know they had a litter. But I haven't heard any sounds lately. Fingers crossed.

Stops them in their tracks
You get 20 traps for a good price compared to 4 with a high price, they actually work like a top name brand (TC), the design is well thought out, and they are intended to kill mice not hold them, we have a field near us that will send one into our house about 3-4 times a year, so put it out with peanut butter and that night got one before morning, awesome job

These really WORK!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:These traps work; they're killers, no doubt about it. I tried the old-fashioned ones with spring clip, but they're too difficult to set right, and mice can trick them,. Not these babies, though. Not only are they effective, they are easy to clean and insert bait. They WORK!

These really work - but use them very carefully (quite powerful). Killed all my mice!
These mouse traps are awesome. They really work, and they're easy to use. You just have to be careful not to get your fingers anywhere near the jaws of the trap once you've set it open. Respect those jaws - they are powerful. It took a couple of months, but they ended up totally eliminating my mouse invasion problem. Very happy with the results. Highly recommend them (must be able to use peanut butter, though, to bait these traps - if you're allergic to peanuts, you probably shouldn't get them).

Some are broken when box arrives
Worked well, but some were broken fresh out of the box, so you're not getting your money's worth

Highly recommend
Moved out to the country in a farmhouse. Discovered mice. Lots of mice. Started with the wooden ones. You know, the original kind. But ick, I didn't want to touch it to release the dead mouse so I would just throw the whole thing away. These are great. I don't have to touch nothing dead. Easy to release the 'body'. And I know it's a painless instant death. Saw it.
