Edit: because of great customer service, I got a full refund, no questions asked. It was still a PITA to install and realize it was useless.Installed yesterday, cleaned / flushed out about ten times already, and still I get maybe 1gpm flow. I get that there's *some* sand coming up from my well pump, but it's not really an abnormal amount.This filter might work for just your sink, if you're concerned about drinking sediment... But it definitely is useless as a whole house filter, which is what it is advertised as.The fittings are fine, by the way, despite what others may say. Very easy to install and cool design.

Great filter design, particularly the rotating filter wipe system and convenient back flush. Above all, outstanding customer support - Andrew addressed my question within in a day and then followed up after a few days with an email to assure to my issue was fully resolved. I have a well with some fine clay type sediment. After only a few days of use, the filter became hopelessly clogged despite cleaning it and blowing it several times. I eventually removed it which restored water flowe. The brushes are completely ineffective at removing anything from the filter surface. It's more a gimmick than anything else.So beware, if you have fine sediment, be prepare to disassemble this filter often and replace the filter. I'm not even going to try and get a replacement, I'm going to look for a better filter instead.So an update, and the reason why I updated my one star to two stars. First off, the seller promptly kindly offered a full refund on the filter. I actually went through the amazon refund process which is more convenient, but very much appreciate their offer. They also offered a token gift for my trouble which I did not accept, but it was a nice gesture. The second reason why I've raised it one star has to do with the filter mesh. Turns out the other filter I bought had a set of varying size filters, two of them being coarser than this one. I found that the 100 micron filter was perfect for my well water. Waterdrop was wiling to ship me a coarser filter, so if yours end up clogged like mine, maybe ask them to ship you a coarser filter. That would save some hassle, as I had to uninstall this unit and install the other one. Other than the filter issue, the unit is designed very well, so no complaints about that.
