Bought this for my daughter to make art. The paper quality is so nice and she loves drawing and painting in it! The paper is thick enough to hold paint without going on next page!

Exactly what my daughter was looking for to do her many styles of art in. So far she has used several different types of mediums and everything has worked.

ripped apart at the seams immediately after opening. I unwrapped the shrink wrap and when I opened the book it fell apart. very low-quality construction.

Bought this for my daughter - twice. Bought one and first day the binding separated from the cover so I returned it for another and the same thing happened day one with the second. I was able to use a two part epoxy glue to fix it but this is just unacceptable.

This sketch book is a great deal! The paper is quality for dry media, which for me is mostly graphite pencil and colored pencil. I've done some work with oil pencils and also water activated pencils and I was still pleased with the results, though I would definitely use something behind the page you're working on so any liquid, or especially Gamsol or other oil color activators don't stain the pages behind.I also use small technical pens in this book and they do great as well. Markers do not but that would be obvious given the paper.Paper itself is good quality. Not too toothy but also not too shiny. I mostly use the book to doodle or for story boarding, but I've cut a few of the pages out for display.
