Bosch R5503 - Cabin Filter activated-carbon

I replaced the original cabin filter in my F36 with this product and noticed instant results.It's a fiddly job but not at all difficult and well worth the short time it takes to complete.I noticed an instant improvement of the air quality within the cabin and will definitely buy again.Reasonably priced by comparison, fits perfectly and does a good job.

Really well made it's the second one I have brought and they last a long time really good quality really happy with the product.

Bosh filter , probably enough said! Fitted my BMW 1 series F20 perfectly and this is the top of the range filter with carbon e.t.c. noticably does not let the smells in too !

Performance is far better than what the dealer had put in previously (Mahle). They charge more for a product that doesn’t have activated carbon and therefore doesn’t remove smells. Superior product that is great value for money.

Good filter. Bit tricky to fit but videos on youtube shoing how. Cheaper than BMW OEM part. Fit in my 320ED.

I’m unsure how I review this as I’ve nothing to work off.It was a pain to fit but that’s BMW’s fault not Bosch’s.I fitted the same type around a year ago and when taken out it was still in tact and relatively clean, and could have got another year (11,000 miles) out of the original, but for the price it’s a cheaper service item to do yearly yourself as BMW wanted around £70 fully fitted.

After using a Mann filter last year in the absence of an available Mahle, the difference in quality between this Bosch and the others is noticeable. The Bosch filter is much higher quality and also more flexible, for ease of fitting in F30/F31 curved housing with limited access.
