SImple and fun
Absolutely brilliant game. Its a really simple concept that that works brilliantly. My niece (8) and nephew (10) loved it, and it was simple for them to pick up. They enjoyed being able to lie and see if they could get away with it!It is also great fun with an adult only group, I have not laughed so much in a very long time. The cards themselves are well made and fun.

Great game!
Every sunday we have a family games day, with a varied age range of players. I saw someone on YouTube recommend this one, and it is a really fun easy to play game... once you know what the animals on the cards are. There's 8 creatures, with 8 cards for each in the 64 card deck. All cards are dealt out to the players. Then player 1 chooses a card from their hand, and pushes it in front of another player stating what the card is.They could be telling the truth, or they could be bluffing, The 'receiving' player has two options: To call whether they think it is what the other said or not. If they are right, the card returns to player 1 and is placed face up in front of them. The other option is to not call it, take a look and then pass it to someone else while making another claim (it can be the same or something else) and that player has the same options unless there are no more players it could be passed to.The first player to get four of a kind in front of them is the loser. And that's it! Games are quick and lots of laughs. My only teeny-tiny gripe (and it's not that big a deal, really) Is the artwork on the cards, the scratchy edgy cell-shaded style can be a bit confusing at first. Especially when even with the same creature type each card is different. But stick with it for a couple of games, learn that each animal has its own colour scheme, and it really won't be long before you are totally into this great game. Realising the tactic of looking at what other players have in front of them and trying to palm off more on them, getting more confident at delivering your statements, and the amusement to be had from the suspicious looks from others is priceless.Totally recommend 100%

Bluffing Good Fun
Fab little game, great for travel as box is small but does need some space to play as you lay the cards out. A great fun bluffing game with easy rules. Go to youtube to watch it being played. Enjoyed by adults and children, my 10 year old loved it.

Hilarious Bluffing Game That Had Us in Stitches for Hours
Cockroach poker is a very funny bluffing card game with a creepy crawlies, bats and toads, and similar creatures. Nothing scary - the artwork is just silly and it adds to the fun of the game. We had a lot of fun playing this game; so much so that I bought a second one as a present. The objective is to force your opponent(s) to collect 4 of any type of critter (five-of-a-kind in a 2-player game) by bluffing about the face-down card on the table. Bluff convincingly and your component has to take the card. But, if your poker face has let you down, you end up with the card yourself. A card that has been 'presented' does not go back into the player's hand. There are 64 cards divided into 8 different critters: rats, bats, flies, spiders, stink bugs, toads, scorpions and, of course, cockroaches. What I particularly like is that each card is different. They could have easily printed 8 identical cards for each critter but, instead, there are 64 different illustrations. The game comes in a small box, is very portable and has good quality components (cards). The rules and mechanics are simple. Game play is fast, fun and very interactive. Overall, this is a solid game with good replayability.
